Hapoel Holon closed the first round successfully as they won over Armia in Israel. Hapoel dominated the whole game and celebrated an 84:69 victory.
It was the last game of the first round. Hapoel Holon started with 28-19 in the first period and enjoyed 12-point advantage at the halftime when Zack Rosen (185-PG-89, college: Pennsylvania) sent the teams to the lockers at 49:37. Hapoel Holon continued their dominance in the third quarter and increased to 20 points at the end of it. Armia managed to reduce to 15 points as they won the last stanza 17-12.
Frank Hassell (203-F-88, college: ODU) erupted with 22 points and 15 rebounds for the home side and Tyler Smith (201-F-86, college: Tennessee) tossed in 16. Zack Rosen brought 13, whilst Jerome Dyson (191-G-87, college: Connecticut) had 12. Curtis Millage (185-G-81, college: Arizona St.) ended up with 20 points in the losing effort and Lamayn Wilson (204-F-80, college: Troy) added 15. Lasha Parghalava (191-G-87, college: Montana St. - Billin) ended up with 8 and Giorgi Gamqrelidze (183-PG-86, agency: FCM) finished the game with 7.

29-year old Serbian center Dragan Tubak (216-87, agency: HMS). He played last season at Feni Industries in FYR Macedonia Prva Liga, but left the team in Apr.'16. In 20 games he had 8.8ppg and 7.4rpg. American Thomas Spagnolo (201-F-91) put on an amazing game in the last round for league's second-best Rustavi and that's him to receive a Player of the Week award for round 2. The 25-year old forward had a double-double of 21 points and twelve rebounds, while his team beat Olimpi (#7, 0-2), the league's bottom-ranked team 82-68. There were only 2 rounds played so far and it's still very beginning of the Regular Season in Superleague. The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Batumi (1-1) at the home court on Monday night. Hosts were defeated by Dinamo Tbilisi (2-0) 91-86.
