Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top performances of Georgians who are currently playing abroad.

Giorgi Shermadini
Giorgi Shermadini
#1. This week's number one is an international center Giorgi Shermadini (216-89, currently plays in Israel). He led Maccabi T-A to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Maccabi Haifa (2-2) crushing them 87-67 in the Israeli Winner League in Sunday night's game. Shermadini recorded 11 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in 22 minutes on the court. Maccabi Electra Tel-Aviv (3-1) is placed sixth in the Winner League. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. It's Shermadini's first year with the team. This season he averages: 7.8ppg, 5.0rpg, 2FGP: 66.7%(12-18) and FT: 77.8% in the four games he played so far. Shermadini is currently a member of the Georgian senior national team.

Corey Fisher
Corey Fisher
#2. Second place goes to an international point guard Corey Fisher (186-88, college: Villanova, currently plays in Spain). He led FIATC Joventut to a 2-point victory over the 14th-ranked Baloncesto Fuenlabrada (1-5) 82-80 in the Spanish ACB last Saturday. Fisher was MVP of the game. He scored 22 points and added 3 passes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Fisher's second season in pro basketball. FIATC Joventut Badalona (4-2) is placed ninth in the ACB. But the season just started, so everything may happen. It's Fisher's first year with the team. He has relatively good stats this season: 13.0ppg, 3.4rpg, 2.0apg, 2FGP: 43.8%, 3FGP: 27.6% and FT: 81.3%. Fisher is a naturalized American. Despite he played previously for the USA university national team, Fisher is currently a member of the Georgian senior national team. Strangely he has never played in Georgia.

Zaza Pachulia
Zaza Pachulia
#3. The Georgian player who performed third best last week abroad was an international center Zaza Pachulia (210-84, currently plays in NBA), who plays in the NBA. Pachulia could not help the Atlanta Hawks (1-1) in their last game. Despite his good performance the Atlanta Hawks lost 102-109 on the road to the Houston Rockets. Pachulia recorded 13 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in 22 minutes. But the season is still in it's first stage and everything can happen. This year Pachulia has relatively solid stats: 9.5ppg, 7.0rpg, 3.5apg and FT: 83.3% in the two games. He is also a member of the Georgian senior national team.

Georgi Tsintsadze
Georgi Tsintsadze
#4. Point guard Georgi Tsintsadze (192-86, currently plays in Ukraine) led Budivelnyk to a victory over the closely-ranked Azovmash (8-4) crushing them 90-70 in the Ukrainian Superleague last Friday. Tsintsadze was the best player in that game. He scored 22 points, grabbed 7 rebounds and dished 8 assists in 36 minutes. Budivelnyk Kyiv (8-3) is placed third in the Superleague. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. This year Tsintsadze's overall stats are: 7.6ppg, 2.7rpg, 3.5apg and 2.2spg in the 11 games. He is also Georgian national team player.

Viktor Sanikidze

#5. International small forward Viktor Sanikidze (203-86, currently plays in Italy) was not able to help Montepaschi Siena (4-2) in their game against Armani Milano (3-3) in the Italian SerieA. Sanikidze scored 9 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. But Montepaschi Siena was defeated 71-66 in Milano by the lower-ranked Armani (#8). It's Sanikidze's first season with the team. His total stats this year are: 5.8ppg, 5.7rpg and 1.3apg. Sanikidze plays currently for the Georgian national team.

Manuchar Markoishvili
Manuchar Markoishvili
#6. Small forward Manuchar Markoishvili (196-86, currently plays in Italy) contributed to Cantu's victory against one of league's weakest teams Air Avellino (2-4) 79-67 in the Italian SerieA last Sunday. He scored 8 points and added 5 passes. Chebolletta Cantu (4-2) is placed third in the SerieA. Markoishvili is one of the most experienced players in a team as it's his fourth year in Cantu's roster. Markoishvili's total stats this season are: 10.0ppg, 2.2rpg and 2.3apg. He is an international player who is currently on the senior Georgian National Team roster.

Jacob Pullen
Jacob Pullen
#7. International point guard Jacob Pullen (185-89, college: Kansas St., currently plays in Israel) was the main contributor in a Hapoel J-M's victory against the league outsider Maccabi Ashdod (0-4) 90-71 in the Israeli Winner League on Sunday night. Pullen was the top player that evening. He recorded 21 points in 26 minutes; not bad, considering it's only Pullen's second season in pro basketball. Hapoel Migdal Jerusalem (1-3) is placed ninth in the Winner League. They ended the series of three consecutive loses. Pullen has reliable stats this year: 14.3ppg, 2.8apg and 1.5spg in the four games. He is a naturalized American. Pullen is also Georgian national team player. Apparently he has never played in Georgia.

Beka Burjanadze
Beka Burjanadze
#8. Power forward Beka Burjanadze (203-94, currently plays in Eurocup) was not able to secure a victory for Cajasol (0-1) in their game against Banco di Sardegna Sassari (1-0) in the Eurocup. He recorded only 4 points in 12 minutes. It was his first game for Cajasol this season. Cajasol was edged 87-84 in Sassari by the leading Banco di Sardegna. Burjanadze plays currently for the Georgian U20 national team.

Davit Maisuradze
Davit Maisuradze
#9. Former U16 international power forward Davit Maisuradze (205-90, currently plays in Ukraine) contributed to an easy victory against one of league's weakest teams Ternopil-TNEU (0-4) crushing them 81-61 in the Ukrainian Higher League (second division) in Saturday night's game. He scored 6 points and grabbed 9 rebounds in 18 minutes. Kirovograd (3-3) is placed third in the Higher League. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. This year Maisuradze's total stats are: 6.7ppg, 5.5rpg and 1.3apg in the six games. He used to play for the Georgian U16 national team six years ago.

The list of other players, who all have Georgian passport but never been selected to any of Georgian national teams:

#1. Will Thomas (203-PF-86, currently plays in Turkey), who plays in the Turkish TBL could not help Karsiyaka (3-1) in their last game on Saturday. Despite Thomas' very good performance Karsiyaka was edged 95-94 on the road by the lower-ranked Tofas (#10). He was the top scorer with 19 points. Thomas also added 6 rebounds. But there are still lots of games to play and it's a long way to go. It's Thomas' first season with the team. He has reliable stats this year: 11.8ppg, 5.3rpg and 1.3apg. Thomas is a naturalized American. He used to play for Army Sport Klub Tbilisi in Georgian league.

#2. Quinton Hosley (201-F/G-84, college: Fresno St., currently plays in Poland) led Stelmet ZG to a victory over the league outsider Start Gdynia (1-5) 76-67 in the Polish TBL in Saturday night's game. He was the top player that evening. Hosley scored 17 points, had 6 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 32 minutes. Stelmet Zielona Gora (4-2) is placed fourth in the TBL. Hosley is currently second on the list of top scorers and also on the list of most steals (third place). He has individually a very good year with high stats. Hosley averages: 18.8ppg, 6.2rpg, 3.5apg and 2.5spg in the six games he played so far. He is a naturalized American. Apparently Hosley has never played in Georgia.

#3. He cannot count Saturday's game as one of the best ones. Janelidze scored only 2 points. Casalpusterlengo was defeated 76-67 on the opponent's court by the higher-ranked Omegna (#11). This season Janelidze averages just 0.5ppg.
