American Kirk Archibeque (205-C-84) had a great game in the last round for league's leader MIA Academy and that's him to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 4.
The 28-year old center had a double-double of 24 points and thirteen rebounds, while his team outclassed Rustavi (#5, 3-1) with 44-point margin 88-44. It allowed MIA Academy to consolidate first place in the Georgian Superleague. They maintain perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but MIA Academy already had a very good start winning all 4 without losing a single one. Archibeque turned to be MIA Academy's top player in his first season with the team. Fort Lewis University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Archibeque is league's best scorer averaging so far 22.5ppg. Archibeque is in league's top in rebounds (3rd best: 11.5rpg) and averages solid 1.3bpg and 65.4% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young international power forward Akaki Dvalishvili (206-PF-90) of Olimpi. Dvalishvili impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 25 points and 10 rebounds. Of course he lead Olimpi to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked TSU Tbilisi (#8, 1-3) 98-51. This victory allowed Olimpi to move up to 3rd position in the standings. A very good start of the season for his team, which won so far all 3 games without any defeat. Dvalishvili is a newcomer at Olimpi and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was another Olimpi's star - Montenegrin Stevan Milosevic (211-C-85, agency: Interperformances). Milosevic scored 24 points and grabbed twelve rebounds (!!!). He was another key player of Olimpi, helping his team with a 98-51 easy win against the lower-ranked TSU Tbilisi (#8, 1-3). Olimpi started extremely well this year. They recorded 3 victories without losing a single game. Milosevic turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title. Milosevic has a great season in Georgia. After only 3 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 13.0rpg (#1 in league).

5. Flynn Clayman (206-F-88) of Dinamo Tbilisi - 26 points, 8 rebounds and 2 assists
6. Vakhtang Kadaria (205-C-89) of Sokhumi - 13 points, 15 rebounds and 2 assists

The Player of the week is choosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
