We bring you last week's top performances from Georgians who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level.

Zaza Pachulia
Zaza Pachulia
#1. This week's number one is an international center Zaza Pachulia (210-84, currently plays in NBA). He led Atlanta Hawks to a victory over the Los Angeles Clippers (8-6) 104-93 in the NBA in Saturday night's game. Pachulia was MVP of the game. He had a double-double by scoring 19 points and getting 12 rebounds. Pachulia also added 3 assists in 37 minutes on the court. The Atlanta Hawks have a solid 8-4 record this season. It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. Pachulia has relatively good stats this year: 7.3ppg, 7.7rpg, 1.8apg, 2FGP: 56.9%(33-58) and FT: 73.3% in the 12 games he played so far. He is currently a member of the Georgian senior national team.

Manuchar Markoishvili
Manuchar Markoishvili
#2. Second place goes to an international small forward Manuchar Markoishvili (196-86, currently plays in Italy), who plays in the Italian SerieA. Markoishvili could not help one of league's weakest teams Cantu (6-3) in their last game on Monday. Despite his very good performance Cantu was defeated 67-54 at home by the higher-ranked Montepaschi Siena (#3). Markoishvili recorded a double-double by scoring 18 points and getting 11 rebounds (went 6 for 6 at the free throw line). But the season just started, so everything may happen. It's Markoishvili's fourth year with the team. This season he has relatively solid stats: 11.3ppg, 3.6rpg, 2.0apg, 2FGP: 47.3%, 3FGP: 33.3% and FT: 87.5%. Markoishvili is in the roster of the Georgian senior national team.

Viktor Sanikidze
Viktor Sanikidze

The Georgian player who performed third best last week abroad was an international small forward Viktor Sanikidze (203-86, currently plays in Italy) faced previously mentioned Manuchar Markoishvili in the Italian SerieA last game. Sanikidze was the major contributor in a Montepaschi Siena's victory against the closely-ranked Cantu (6-3) 67-54. He scored 10 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in 23 minutes. But the season is still in it's first stage and everything can happen. This year Sanikidze averages: 7.2ppg, 6.1rpg, 2FGP: 65.5%(19-29) and FT: 83.3% in the nine games. He is also a member of the Georgian senior national team.

Jacob Pullen
Jacob Pullen
#4. Point guard Jacob Pullen (185-89, college: Kansas St., currently plays in Eurocup), who plays in Israel was not able to help Hapoel J-M (1-3) in their last game on Wednesday. Despite his very good performance Hapoel J-M was defeated 84-77 on the road by the second-ranked Budivelnyk. Pullen was the top scorer with 22 points. He also added 3 assists and 4 steals. There are only two games left until the end of the Eurocup Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. It's Pullen's first season with the team. Pullen has reliable stats this year: 14.8ppg, 2.5rpg, 1.8apg and 2.3spg. He is a naturalized American. Pullen is also Georgian national team player. Strangely he has never played in Georgia.

Georgi Tsintsadze
Georgi Tsintsadze
#5. International point guard Georgi Tsintsadze (192-86, currently plays in Eurocup) faced previously mentioned Jacob Pullen in the Eurocup last game. Tsintsadze contributed to Budivelnyk's victory against the closely-ranked Hapoel J-M (1-3) 84-77. He recorded 12 points and added 5 passes (made all of his five free throws) in 29 minutes. There are only two games left until the end of the Eurocup Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. Tsintsadze's stats this year are: 11.8ppg, 2.8rpg, 3.5apg and 1.8spg in the four games. He plays currently for the Georgian national team.

Corey Fisher
Corey Fisher
#6. Point guard Corey Fisher (186-88, college: Villanova, currently plays in Spain), who plays in the Spanish ACB was not able to secure a victory for FIATC Joventut (4-5) in their last game on Sunday. Despite Fisher's very good performance FIATC Joventut was badly defeated 77-57 in Zaragoza by the much higher-ranked CAI Zaragoza (#5). He was the top scorer with 17 points. Fisher also added 3 assists. Fisher's stats this season are: 12.9ppg, 2.9rpg and 2.4apg. He is a naturalized American. Despite Fisher played previously for the USA university national team, he is also an international player who is currently on the senior Georgian National Team roster. Apparently Fisher has never played in Georgia.

Giorgi Shermadini
Giorgi Shermadini
#7. International center Giorgi Shermadini (216-89, currently plays in Euroleague) couldn't help Maccabi T-A (5-2) in their game against Montepaschi Siena (4-3) in the Euroleague. He cannot count Friday's game as one of the best ones. Shermadini recorded only 2 points. The second-placed Maccabi T-A was edged 89-87 in Siena by the lower-ranked Montepaschi (#3) in the group B of Euroleague. There are only three games left until the end of the Euroleague Regular Season. So now every game will be important. Shermadini's overall stats this season are: 5.4ppg and 2.6rpg. He is also Georgian national team player.

Davit Maisuradze
Davit Maisuradze
#8. Power forward Davit Maisuradze (205-90, currently plays in Ukraine) contributed to Kirovograd's victory against one of league's weakest teams BK Kremen (0-6) 85-77 in the Ukrainian Higher League (second division) last Saturday. Maisuradze recorded 11 points in a mere 17 minutes. Kirovograd (5-5) is placed fourth in the Higher League. This year Maisuradze's overall stats are: 8.0ppg, 4.6rpg and 1.5apg in the 10 games. He used to play for the Georgian U16 national team back in 2006.

The list of other players, who all have Georgian passport but never been selected to any of Georgian national teams:

#1. Quinton Hosley (201-F/G-84, college: Fresno St., currently plays in Poland) led Stelmet ZG to a victory over the ninth-ranked Polpharma (3-6) 89-76 in the Polish TBL in Saturday night's game. Hosley was the best player in that game. He recorded a double-double by scoring 18 points and getting 10 rebounds. Hosley also added 4 assists. Stelmet Zielona Gora (6-3) is placed fifth in the TBL. Hosley is currently first on the list of top scorers and also on the list of most steals (third place). He has individually a very good season with high stats. Hosley averages: 18.8ppg, 6.0rpg, 3.0apg and 2.3spg. He is a naturalized American. Strangely Hosley has never played in Georgia.

#2. Will Thomas (203-PF-86, currently plays in Turkey), who plays in the Turkish TBL could not help one of league's weakest teams one of league's weakest teams Karsiyaka (5-2) in their last game. But there are still lots of games to play and it's a long way to go. Thomas has reliable stats this year: 11.0ppg and 4.3rpg in the seven games he played so far. He is a naturalized American.
