Antwerp Giants move closer to Last 16 of EuroChallenge. The Belgian team overcame Armia 87:54 for 3-2 record in Group H. Antwerp Giants will need another win in the last round over Hapoel in order to advance. The Georgian team fell at 0-5 record in the bottom of the group.
The hosts jumped into 22-13 early in the game and dominated the first half. They added a 13-0 run that began with a big three from Hopkins. Armia held their own in the third period but had run out of steam by the fourth as the Giants pulled further clear even with several reserves seeing extended action. Antwerp Giants won the third period 22-21 and finished the game with 18-11 in the last period.
Bryan Hopkins (183-G-83, college: SMU) led the way with 16 points and Timothy Black (178-PG-81, agency: Limelight Hoops, college: Barton, NC) tossed in 13. Ralph Biggs (199-F-76, agency: Court Side, college: Towson) delivered 11, while Gregg Thondique (201-F-87, agency: FCM, college: Virginia Union) and Jean-Marc Mwema (195-F-89, agency: Court Side) scored 10 apiece. Joakim Kjellbom (213-C-79, college: N.Arizona) answered with 14 points in the losing effort and Giorgi Gamqrelidze (183-PG-86, agency: FCM) as well as Lamayn Wilson (204-F-80, college: Troy) had 8 apiece.

Kutaisi - Dinamo Tbilisi 76-93 Dinamo Tbilisi are the new Superleague champions. They stormed past Kutaisi on the road to sweep the title series. The game without a history.
