Nate Bowie
26-year old guard Nate Bowie (183-G-86) had an amazing evening in the last round for Rustavi and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 11.
He had a double-double of 25 points and 13 rebounds, while his team outclassed Batumi (#8, 3-7) with 32-point margin 107-75. Rustavi maintains the 4th position in Georgian league. They are still close to the very top. Rustavi would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 8-2 record. In the team's last game Bowie had a remarkable 71.4% from 2-point range. He turned to be Rustavi's top player in his first season with the team. Central Arkansas graduate has very impressive stats this year. Bowie is in league's top in points (2nd best: 20.7ppg), assists (9th best: 4.1apg) and averages solid 3.4spg,56.3% FGP and 44.4% from behind 3-point line.

Second best performed player last round was Curtis Millage (185-G-81) of league's second-best Armia. He is American guard in his first season at Armia. In the last game Millage recorded impressive double-double of 24 points and 11 rebounds. Of course he lead Armia to another comfortable win outscoring Olimpi (8-2) 93-62. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Armia consolidated its place in top 2 of the standings. His team lost just two games this season, while they won 8 matches. Millage is a newcomer at Armia and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to another Armia's star - forward Lamayn Wilson (204-F-80). Wilson scored 26 points and grabbed fifteen rebounds (!!!). He was another key player of Armia, helping his team with a 93-62 easy win against #3 ranked Olimpi. Armia is closer and closer to the top of the standings. They will still need more victories. But 8-2 record is not that bad... Wilson has a very solid season. In 9 games in Georgia he scored 13.2ppg. He also has 7.8rpg and FGP: 56.6%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Lamar Karim (178-PG-83) of Dinamo Tbilisi - 25 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists
5. Vakhtang Kadaria (205-C-89) of Sokhumi - 20 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists
6. Kirk Archibeque (205-C-84) of MIA Academy - 18 points, 12 rebounds and 2 assists
7. Giorgi Kvelashvili (206-C-81) of Batumi - 21 points and 3 rebounds
8. Flynn Clayman (206-F-88) of Dinamo Tbilisi - 21 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists
9. Kyle Nelson (203-F-89) of Rustavi - 17 points, 13 rebounds and 2 assists
10. Irakli Chlaidze (199-F-89) of Sokhumi - 27 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists

The Player of the week is choosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
