We bring you last week's top performances from Georgians who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level.

Manuchar Markoishvili
Manuchar Markoishvili
#1. This week's number one is an international small forward Manuchar Markoishvili (196-86, currently plays in Italy). He was the major contributor in Cantu's victory against the 13th-ranked Sutor Montegranaro (3-9) crushing them 100-79 in the Italian SerieA in Sunday night's game. Markoishvili scored 19 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in 33 minutes on the court. Mapooro Cantu (8-4) is placed fourth in the SerieA. It's Markoishvili's fourth season with the team. He has relatively good stats this year: 12.5ppg, 3.8rpg, 2.0apg, 2FGP: 44.0%, 3FGP: 41.5% in the 12 games he played so far. Markoishvili is currently a member of the Georgian senior national team.

Nikoloz Tskitishvili
Nikoloz Tskitishvili
#2. Second place goes to an international power forward Nikoloz Tskitishvili (212-83, agency: Regeneracom Sports, currently plays in Lebanon). He led Champville to a victory against the league outsider Anibal (1-8) 101-89 in the Lebanese Division A last Sunday. Tskitishvili recorded a double-double by scoring 33 points and getting 16 rebounds. He also added 2 blocks. Champville (5-4) is placed fifth in the Division A. The Regular Season already ended. Tskitishvili has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages: 21.8ppg, 12.8rpg, 1.8apg, 3.3bpg, 2FGP: 66.7%(24-36), 3FGP: 38.9% and FT: 81.8%. Tskitishvili played for the Georgian national team in 2011.

Zaza Pachulia
Zaza Pachulia
#3. The Georgian player who performed third best last week abroad was an international center Zaza Pachulia (210-84, currently plays in NBA), who plays in the NBA. He could not help the Atlanta Hawks (16-9) to beat the Philadelphia 76ers (13-15). Pachulia recorded 9 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. But the Atlanta Hawks were badly defeated 99-80 on the road by the 76ers. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. Pachulia's overall stats this year are: 5.7ppg, 7.0rpg, 1.6apg, 2FGP: 47.3% and FT: 74.5%. He is also a member of the Georgian senior national team.

Corey Fisher
Corey Fisher
#4. Point guard Corey Fisher (186-88, college: Villanova, currently plays in Spain) led FIATC Joventut to a victory over the closely-ranked Asefa Estudiantes (7-7) crushing them 96-75 in the Spanish ACB last Sunday. Fisher was MVP of the game. He scored 22 points, made 4 passes and 3 steals in 30 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Fisher's second season in pro basketball. FIATC Joventut Badalona (7-7) is placed ninth in the ACB. It's Fisher's first year with the team. Fisher belongs to league's top scorers and is ranked #9 with 14.4ppg. This year he also averages: 2.5rpg and 2.5apg in the 13 games. Fisher is a naturalized American. Despite he played previously for the USA university national team, Fisher is currently in the Georgian national team roster. Strangely he has never played in Georgia.

Georgi Tsintsadze
Georgi Tsintsadze
#5. International point guard Georgi Tsintsadze (192-86, currently plays in Ukraine) contributed to an easy victory against the league outsider BC Kyiv (5-17) 88-69 in a derby game in the Ukrainian Superleague on Friday night. Tsintsadze scored 10 points. Budivelnyk Kyiv (17-5) is placed first in the Superleague. It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. It's Tsintsadze's first season with the team. His overall stats this year are: 7.8ppg, 2.8rpg, 3.3apg and 1.6spg. Tsintsadze plays currently for the Georgian national team.

Viktor Sanikidze
Viktor Sanikidze
#6. Small forward Viktor Sanikidze (203-86, currently plays in Italy) managed to help Montepaschi Siena in a victory against the eighth-ranked SAIE3 BO (6-6) 77-66 in the Italian SerieA in Sunday night's game. He scored 5 points in 13 minutes. Montepaschi Siena (10-2) is placed third in the SerieA. It was his team's sixth consecutive victory in a row. This year Sanikidze's overall stats are: 6.8ppg and 5.6rpg in the 12 games. He is an international player who is currently on the senior Georgian National Team roster.

Jacob Pullen
Jacob Pullen
#7. International point guard Jacob Pullen (185-89, college: Kansas St., currently plays in Israel), who plays in the Israeli Winner League was not able to help Hapoel J-M (5-5) in their last game on Monday. Despite Pullen's good performance Hapoel J-M was defeated 87-78 in Rosh Pina by the one of league's weakest teams Galil Gilboa (#11). He was the second best scorer with 14 points. Pullen is currently fourth on the league's list of best passers. He has very reliable stats this season: 13.0ppg, 1.2rpg and 4.3apg. Pullen is a naturalized American. He is also Georgian national team player. Apparently Pullen has never played in Georgia.

Tornike Shengelia
Tornike Shengelia
#8. Power forward Tornike Shengelia (203-91, currently plays in NBA) was not able to secure a victory for the Brooklyn Nets (14-13) in their game against the New York Knicks (20-8) in the NBA. He cannot count Wednesday's game as one of the best ones. Shengelia scored only 2 points. The Brooklyn Nets were defeated 100-86 in New York by the Knicks. But the season just started, so everything may happen. This year Shengelia averages just 1.4ppg. He plays currently for the Georgian national team.

Davit Maisuradze
Davit Maisuradze
#9. Former U16 international power forward Davit Maisuradze (205-90, currently plays in Ukraine) contributed to an overtime Kirovograd's victory against the closely-ranked VolinBasket (7-5) 94-87 in the Ukrainian Higher League (second division) on Sunday night. He recorded 15 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. Kirovograd (6-12) is placed eighth in the Higher League. They ended the series of seven consecutive loses. Maisuradze's total stats this season are: 8.7ppg, 4.6rpg and 1.4apg. He used to play for the Georgian U16 national team six years ago.

The list of other players, who all have Georgian passport but never been selected to any of Georgian national teams:

#1. Quinton Hosley (201-F/G-84, college: Fresno St., currently plays in Poland) was the major contributor in a Stelmet ZG's victory against the closely-ranked Anwil (7-6) 90-84 in the Polish TBL on Saturday night. He recorded 18 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists in 36 minutes. Stelmet Zielona Gora (9-4) is placed fourth in the TBL. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. Hosley is ranked fourth on the list of the top scorers in the league and also on the list of most steals (third place). He has individually a very good year with high stats. Hosley averages: 17.4ppg, 5.6rpg, 2.8apg and 2.1spg in the 13 games he played so far. He is a naturalized American. Strangely Hosley has never played in Georgia.

#2. Will Thomas (203-PF-86, currently plays in Turkey) managed to help Pinar Karsiyaka SK Izmir in a victory against the ninth-ranked Aliaga (5-7) crushing them 83-51 in the Turkish TBL on Wednesday night. This year Thomas' total stats are: 8.3ppg and 3.8rpg in the 12 games. He is a naturalized American. Thomas used to play for Army Sport Klub Tbilisi in Georgian league.

#3. Melvin Sanders (196-F/G-81, college: Oklahoma St., currently plays in Italy) contributed to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Biancoblu BO (7-4) 80-64 in the Italian Lega2 (second division) last Sunday.
