Berishvili
The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Tbilisi: Olimpi (#4) and Sokhumi (#8). Sokhumi was defeated at home 69-82 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Sokhumi. Olimpi looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international forward Mikheil Berishvili (205-87) who helped to win the game recording 13 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists and Levan Fatsatsia who added 13 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals during the contest. Olimpi's coach George Kazanjian used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was forward Irakli Chlaidze (199-89) with 20 points. Olimpi (9-2) keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Rustavi and MIA Academy. Sokhumi at the other side keeps the eighth place with eight games lost. They share the position with Batumi. Olimpi will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Sokhumi's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Tbilisi MIA.
Another interesting game was again a derby between two teams from Tbilisi: Dinamo Tbilisi (#6) and TSU (#7). TSU was defeated at home 60-68 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Kutaisi. TSU at the other side keeps the seventh position with seven games lost. Dinamo Tbilisi will play against Batumi (#8) at home in the next round.
