Here is the weekly review of the top performing Georgian players, who play currently abroad.

Nikoloz Tskitishvili

   #1. This week's number one is former international power forward Nikoloz Tskitishvili (212-83, agency: Regeneracom Sports, currently plays in Lebanon). He led Champville to a victory over one of league's weakest teams Anibal (2-16) crushing them 99-73 in the Lebanese Division A last Monday. Tskitishvili was MVP of the game. He recorded a double-double by scoring 30 points and getting 18 rebounds. Tskitishvili also added 4 assists and 4 blocks. Champville (12-6) is placed third in the Division A. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Tskitishvili is currently third on the list of best rebounders and also on the list of best blockers (first place). He has individually a very good season with high stats. Tskitishvili averages: 18.8ppg, 11.6rpg, 2.4apg, 2.7bpg, 1.1spg, 2FGP: 58.0%(69-119), 3FGP: 40.4% and FT: 77.6%. He played for the Georgian senior national team two years ago.

   #2. Second place goes to an international point guard Corey Fisher (186-88, college: Villanova, currently plays in Spain), who plays in the Spanish ACB. Fisher could not help FIATC Joventut (11-12) in their last game. Despite his very good performance FIATC Joventut lost 86-92 at home to the much lower-ranked (#16) Baloncesto Fuenlabrada. Fisher was the top scorer with 25 points. He also added 5 assists in 32 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Fisher's second season in pro basketball. Fisher has relatively good stats this year: 13.5ppg, 2.3rpg, 2.9apg, 2FGP: 42.5%, 3FGP: 36.2% and FT: 82.7% in the 22 games he played so far. He is a naturalized American. Despite Fisher played previously for the USA university national team, he is currently a member of the Georgian senior national team. Strangely Fisher has never played in Georgia.

Zaza Pachulia

   #3. The Georgian player who performed third best last week abroad was an international center Zaza Pachulia (210-84, currently plays in NBA). He was not able to help the Atlanta Hawks (33-26) in their game against the Phoenix Suns (21-39) in the NBA. Pachulia scored 8 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. The Atlanta Hawks were defeated 92-87 on the road by the Suns. It was Hawks' third consecutive loss in a row. Pachulia's overall stats this season are: 5.9ppg, 6.5rpg, 1.5apg, 2FGP: 47.9% and FT: 75.7%. He is also a member of the Georgian senior national team.

   #4. Point guard Georgi Tsintsadze (192-86, currently plays in Ukraine), who plays in the Ukrainian Superleague was not able to secure a victory for Budivelnyk (25-8) in their last game. Despite Tsintsadze's very good performance the league leader Budivelnyk was edged 87-85 on their home court in Kyiv by the much lower-ranked (#10) BC Odessa. He was the second best scorer with 16 points. Tsintsadze also added 4 assists in 25 minutes. They ended the series of seven consecutive victories. This year Tsintsadze's overall stats are: 7.6ppg, 2.8rpg, 3.6apg and 1.5spg in the 33 games. He is also Georgian national team player.

   #5. International small forward Viktor Sanikidze (203-86, currently plays in Euroleague) contributed to an easy victory against the seventh-ranked Fenerbahce Ulker (2-7) 87-69 in the Euroleague on Thursday night. Sanikidze scored 6 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. Montepaschi Siena (7-2) is placed second in group F. Sanikidze's total stats this season are: 5.9ppg and 5.3rpg. He plays currently for the Georgian national team.

   #6. Power forward Nika Metreveli (211-91, agency: Interperformances, currently plays in Italy), who plays in the Italian Nazionale A (third division) couldn't help Omegna (13-11) in their last game on Wednesday. Despite his very good performance Omegna was defeated 67-59 on their home court in Omegna by the higher-ranked Torino (#6). Metreveli was the top scorer with 19 points. He also added 7 rebounds. This season Metreveli has relatively solid stats: 13.2ppg, 7.2rpg and 1.2spg. He is an international player who is currently on the senior Georgian National Team roster.

   #7. International point guard Jacob Pullen (185-89, college: Kansas St., currently plays in Israel) couldn't help Hapoel Jerusalem (11-8) in their game against Maccabi Rishon (10-9) in the Israeli Winner League. Pullen recorded 6 points in 27 minutes. Hapoel Jerusalem lost 83-91 in Rishon Le-Zion to the lower-ranked (#5) Maccabi Rishon. It was Hapoel Jerusalem's first loss after three consecutive victories. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. Pullen has reliable stats this year: 12.6ppg, 1.5rpg, 4.0apg and 1.1spg in the 19 games. He is a naturalized American. Pullen is also Georgian national team player. Apparently he has never played in Georgia.

   #8. Center Giorgi Shermadini (216-89, currently plays in Euroleague) managed to help Olympiacos S.F.P. Pireus to win against the eighth-ranked Besiktas (0-9) 79-60 in the Euroleague in Thursday night's game. Shermadini scored only 1 points. Olympiacos S.F.P. Pireus (6-3) is placed third in group F. It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. Shermadini's total stats this season are: 5.7ppg, 3.6rpg and 1.1bpg. He plays currently for the Georgian national team.

   #9. U20 international power forward Beka Burjanadze (203-94, currently plays in Spain) contributed to Cajasol's surprising victory against the seventh-ranked Valencia Basket (13-10) 72-66 in the Spanish ACB last Saturday. Burjanadze scored only 2 points in 7 minutes on the court. Cajasol Banca Civica Sevilla (9-14) is placed 14th in the ACB. This year Burjanadze averages just 1.7ppg in the 20 games. He is also in the roster of the Georgian U20 national team.

   #10. Center Georges Mdivani (204-85, agency: Promotex, currently plays in France) couldn't help Rueil (11-11) in their game against Souffelweyersheim (15-6) in the French NM1 (third division). Mdivani scored only 4 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. Rueil was defeated 76-61 in Souffel. by the higher-ranked Souffelweyersheim (#3). Mdivani's total stats this season are: 7.3ppg and 5.9rpg. He is a former international player as eight years ago he still played for the Georgian senior national team.

   #11. Former U16 international power forward Davit Maisuradze (205-90, currently plays in Ukraine) couldn't help Kirovograd in their game against Musson in the Ukrainian Higher League (second division). Maisuradze cannot count Saturday's game as one of the best ones. He scored only 2 points in 20 minutes. His team was crushed by 31 points 76-45. This year Maisuradze's total stats are: 9.0ppg, 4.7rpg and 1.3apg in the 24 games. He used to play for the Georgian U16 national team seven years ago.

The list of other players, who all have Georgian passport but never been selected to any of Georgian national teams:

   #1. Will Thomas (203-PF-86, currently plays in Turkey), who plays in the Turkish TBL could not help Karsiyaka (16-4) in their last game. Despite his very good performance Karsiyaka was edged 78-76 on the road by the leading Fenerbahce Ulker. Thomas had a double-double by scoring 18 points and getting 10 rebounds. He also added 4 assists and 2 blocks in 35 minutes. It was Karsiyaka's first loss after seven consecutive victories. It's Thomas' first season with the team. Thomas has relatively good stats this year: 11.3ppg, 4.8rpg and 1.2apg in the 19 games he played so far. He is a naturalized American. Thomas used to play for Army Sport Klub Tbilisi in Georgian league.

   #2. Quinton Hosley (201-F/G-84, college: Fresno St., currently plays in Poland) was not able to help Stelmet ZG (14-7) in their game against Rosa Radom (5-16) in the Polish TBL. Hosley scored 9 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 17 minutes. But Stelmet ZG lost 96-100 at home to the one of league's weakest teams (#11) Rosa Radom. His team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And that game will be critical. Hosley is ranked seventh on the list of the top scorers in the league and also on the list of most steals (second place). He has individually a very good year with high stats. Hosley averages: 15.2ppg, 5.5rpg, 2.7apg and 2.0spg in the 19 games. He is a naturalized American. Apparently Hosley has never played in Georgia.

Georgia Superleague round 1 best performance: Caleb Crayton - 1 day ago

American Guard Caleb Crayton (190-G-94) had an amazing evening in the last round for Mgzavrebi, receiving a Player of the Week award for round 1. The 22-year old player had a double-double of 27 points and 15 rebounds for Mgzavrebi. In the team's last game Crayton had a remarkable five three-pointers out of 7 attempts. A League newcomer BC Titebi added to their roster American forward Armani Flannigan (203-93kg, college: N.Texas). He spent last season at MCO Mouloudia Oujda in Moroccan D1 league. Daniel Williams (ex Cactus Tbilisi) is a newcomer at Arak - 2 days ago

Shahrdary Arak (Superleague) strengthened their roster with addition of 29-year old American guard Daniel Williams (195-94kg-87, college: Lewis-Clark State). He played most recently at Cactus Tbilisi in Georgia Superleague. In 12 games he was third best scorer with 9.3ppg and had 3.2rpg and 3.1apg last season. Williams helped them to win the cup.
