Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top performances of Georgians who are currently playing abroad.

Giorgi Shermadini
Giorgi Shermadini
#1. This week's number one is an international center Giorgi Shermadini (217-89, currently plays in Spain). He led Andorra to a victory over the closely-ranked Sevilla (7-9) crushing them 95-69 in the Spanish Liga Endesa in Sunday night's game. Shermadini was MVP of the game. He had a double-double by scoring 22 points and getting 11 rebounds in 26 minutes on the court. MoraBanc Andorra (9-7) is placed eighth in the Liga Endesa. Shermadini has relatively good stats this year: 14.3ppg, 8.1rpg, 2FGP: 64.5%(78-121) and FT: 76.6% in 16 games he played so far. He is currently a member of the Georgian senior national team.

Marquez Haynes
Marquez Haynes
#2. Second place goes to former international point guard Marquez Haynes (191-86, college: Texas Arlington, currently plays in Basketball Champions League). Haynes was the major contributor in an Umana Venezia's victory against the sixth-ranked Joensuun Kataja (6-7) 78-68 in the Basketball Champions League last Tuesday. He scored 14 points and added 8 passes. Umana Reyer Venezia (8-5) is placed third in group B. Haynes' team will play only one more game in the Basketball Champions League Regular Season. And that game will be critical. It's Haynes' first season with the team. This year he averages: 7.6ppg, 1.3rpg, 4.6apg, 1.2spg, 2FGP: 38.6%, 3FGP: 21.8% and FT: 93.3%. Haynes is a naturalized American. He played for the Georgian national team in 2011. Strangely Haynes has never played in Georgia.

Jacob Pullen
Jacob Pullen
#3. The Georgian player who performed third best last week abroad was former international point guard Jacob Pullen (184-89, college: Kansas St., currently plays in EuroCup). He could not help one of league's weakest teams Khimky (2-1) in their last game on Wednesday. Despite Pullen's very good performance Khimky was badly defeated 90-74 on the road by the leading Bayern Muenchen. He was the top scorer with 17 points. Pullen also added 3 passes. There are only three games left until the end of the Eurocup Second Stage. So now every game is very crucial. This season Pullen has relatively solid stats: 10.7ppg, 2.6apg, 2FGP: 45.7%, 3FGP: 37.3% and FT: 73.1%. He is a naturalized American. Pullen played for the Georgian national team two years ago. Apparently he has never played in Georgia.

Tornike Shengelia
Tornike Shengelia
#4. Forward Tornike Shengelia (206-91, currently plays in Euroleague) was not able to help Baskonia (11-6) in their last game. Despite Shengelia's good performance the fourth-placed Baskonia (11-6) lost 89-98 in Istanbul to the lower-ranked (#7) Darussafaka in the group A of Euroleague. He was the second best scorer with 13 points. Shengelia also added 4 rebounds in 26 minutes. Shengelia has reliable stats this year: 11.7ppg and 3.8rpg in 15 games. He is also Georgian national team player.

Corey Fisher
Corey Fisher
#5. Former international point guard Corey Fisher (186-88, college: Villanova, currently plays in EuroCup) was not able to secure a victory for Lietuvos rytas (1-2) in their last game on Wednesday. Despite Fisher's very good performance Lietuvos rytas was defeated 88-79 in Saint Petersburg by the leading Zenit. He was the second best scorer with 15 points. Fisher also added 5 passes (was perfect 5-for-5 from the free throw line). There are only three games left until the end of the Eurocup Second Stage. So now every game will be important. Fisher's stats this season are: 11.4ppg, 1.2rpg and 3.0apg. He is a naturalized American. Despite Fisher played previously for the USA university national team, he is currently in the Georgian national team roster. Interesting that Fisher has never played in Georgia.
