There were only 2 rounds played so far and it's still very beginning of the Regular Season in A League.

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Hyundai-TSU (1-1) in Tbilisi on Thursday night. Hosts were edged by DELTA (2-0) 64-62. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Hyundai-TSU won third quarter 16-12. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was American Deondre Ray (196, college: Cameron) who scored 21 points and 6 rebounds. Levan Eliadze (198-92) chipped in 13 points and 11 rebounds. Power forward George Korsantia (203-98) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds for the hosts. Hyundai-TSU's coach Nikoloz Cherkezishvili rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. DELTA is looking forward to face Tskaltubo (#6) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Hyundai-TSU will play against BC Titebi and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Important game to mention about took place in Tbilisi. Arena-76 (1-1) saved a 2-point victory at home edging Tskaltubo (0-2) 88-86 on Thursday evening. American guard Rodnerius Lewis (193-93, college: Stillman) orchestrated the victory by scoring 37 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds. Tato Chachibaia contributed with 11 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. American forward Travante Williams (197-93, college: Alaska-Fairb., agency: Duran International) replied with 27 points and 6 rebounds for Tskaltubo. Arena-76 will play against SEU Tbilisi (#5) on the road in the next round. Tskaltubo will play against DELTA to get more than just one victory in their record.

BC Titebi - SEU Tbilisi 80-55

The game with biggest result difference took place in Tbilisi. Local BC Titebi (2-0) outscored SEU Tbilisi (0-2) 80-55 on Thursday night. The game without a history. BC Titebi led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. BC Titebi outrebounded SEU Tbilisi 51-33 including 39 on the defensive glass. American guard Ryan Aaron (190-91, college: S.Nazarene) scored 24 points and 6 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import forward Armani Flannigan (203-92, college: N.Texas) chipped in 12 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. The former international center Richard Matiashvili (207-89, agency: Aspire Sports) responded with 6 points and 12 rebounds and American forward Eric Gaines (193-92, college: Campbellsville) scored 14 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. BC Titebi will meet Hyundai-TSU (#4) in the next round. SEU Tbilisi will play against Arena-76 and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Forward Tato Chachibaia (201-90) contributed with a double-double by scoring 11 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners.
