Marquez Haynes
Marquez Haynes
#1. This week's number one is former international point guard Marquez Haynes (191-86, college: Texas Arlington, currently plays in Italy). He could not help Umana Venezia (12-8) in their last game. Despite Haynes' very good performance Umana Venezia lost 82-91 on the road to the league outsider (#16) Vanoli Cremona. He was the top scorer with 25 points. Haynes also added 5 passes in 29 minutes on the court. It was Umana Venezia's fourth consecutive loss in a row. It's Haynes' first season with the team. He has relatively good stats this year: 13.5ppg, 2.6rpg, 3.2apg, 2FGP: 37.1%, 3FGP: 40.2% and FT: 84.9% in 20 games he played so far. Haynes is a naturalized American. He played for the Georgian senior national team six years ago. Strangely Haynes has never played in Georgia.

It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. This season Dixon has relatively solid stats: 14.7ppg, 2.5rpg, 2.5apg, 1.3spg, 2FGP: 57.3%(51-89), 3FGP: 44.7% and FT: 78.6%.
