There will be only one (last) round of the Regular Season in Superleague. Coincidentally all hosts won their games.

The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Tbilisi: Olimpi (#7) and Cactus Tbilisi (#4). Olimpi (6-13) smashed visiting Cactus Tbilisi (8-12) by 44 points 90-46. The game without a history. Olimpi led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Cactus Tbilisi to just 5 points in fourth quarter. Olimpi held Cactus Tbilisi to an opponent 21.9 percent shooting from the field compared to 49.4 percent accuracy of the winners. Olimpi forced 19 Cactus Tbilisi turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was American guard Tre Burnette (196, college: S.Dakota) who scored 21 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). The former international guard Revaz Rogava (191-93) chipped in 16 points and 8 rebounds. American guard Terik Bridgeman (198, college: William Pater.) produced 12 points and 7 rebounds for the guests. Cactus Tbilisi's coach Archil Jgenti gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Olimpi maintains seventh position with 6-13 record. Cactus Tbilisi at the other side dropped to the fifth place with 12 games lost. Olimpi are looking forward to face higher ranked Batumi (#6) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Cactus Tbilisi will play against Energy Invest and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Reggie Murphy contributed with 13 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. International point guard Giorgi Tsintsadze (192-86) replied with 14 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists for Kutaisi. Mgzavrebi maintains eighth position with 5-15 record. Defending champion Kutaisi keeps the second place with five games lost. Mgzavrebi's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Tbilisi Sokhumi.

Loser Energy Invest keeps the third place with nine games lost. Dinamo Tbilisi will meet league's second-placed Kutaisi on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Energy Invest will play against Cactus Tbilisi and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

In the last game of round 20 Batumi was defeated by Sokhumi in Tbilisi 75-64.

Mgzavrebi - Kutaisi 88-75

Very important is a road loss of second ranked Kutaisi (14-5) against eighth ranked Mgzavrebi (5-15) on Sunday night. Visiting Kutaisi was defeated by Mgzavrebi in Tbilisi 88-75. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Kutaisi. It looked good early as Kutaisi took a 9-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Mgzavrebi took control getting tie in the second period and winning the second half and eventually winning the game that evening by 13 points. Mgzavrebi made 24-of-29 charity shots (82.8 percent) during the game, while Kutaisi only scored five points from the stripe. Mgzavrebi forced 19 Kutaisi turnovers. Kutaisi was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. American point guard Kaheem Ransom (185, college: Sam Houston St.) orchestrated the victory by scoring 18 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. The other American import center Reggie Murphy (208-91, college: Henderson St.) contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. The game between closely ranked teams ended with 6th ranked Batumi's (7-13) road loss to fifth ranked Sokhumi (9-11) 64-75 on Sunday. The hosts trailed by 7 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 7-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 75-64. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Dwayne Lathan (190-89, college: Indiana St.) who helped to win the game recording 10 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists and power forward Oleksandr Tishchenko (205-89) who added 19 points during the contest. Sokhumi's coach Nugzar Cheishvili used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Ukrainian forward Igor Krivtsov (201-86) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds and Ukrainian point guard Illya Shemosiuk (188-85) scored 16 points and 7 rebounds. Sokhumi moved-up to fourth place. Loser Batumi keeps the sixth position with 13 games lost. Sokhumi's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Tbilisi to the arena Mgzavrebi.
