The game between third ranked Arena-76 (4-3) and fourth ranked Tskaltubo (4-3) was the most important one in the last round on Wednesday night. Arena-76 was defeated by Tskaltubo at home 94-81. The guests trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 3-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 94-81. It was a great evening for American forward Travante Williams (197-93, college: Alaska-Fairb., agency: Duran International) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 26 points, 15 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. Uzbekistani center Dmitry Sviridov (212-85) helped adding 17 points and 7 rebounds. At the losing side American power forward Peter Alexis (213-92, college: Philadelphia) responded with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 13 rebounds. Tskaltubo have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Arena-76 and BC Titebi. Tskaltubo is looking forward to face league's leader DELTA in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Arena-76 will play against SEU Tbilisi and is hoping to win this game.
Bottom-ranked SEU Tbilisi (0-7) is still winless. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their seventh consecutive match to fifth ranked BC Titebi (4-3) 84-61. It was an exceptional evening for American forward Armani Flannigan (203-92, college: N.Texas) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 18 rebounds. Giorgi Gamqrelidze accounted for 17 points and 9 assists. Power forward Davit Maisuradze (205-90) came up with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 14 rebounds for SEU Tbilisi in the defeat. BC Titebi moved-up to third place, which they share with Arena-76 and Tskaltubo. SEU Tbilisi at the other side still closes the standings with seven games lost. BC Titebi will play against league's second-placed Hyundai-TSU in Tbilisi in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. SEU Tbilisi will play against Arena-76 (#5) and hopes to get finally their first victory.

Newly promoted CS Politehnica Unirea Iasi (Liga Nationala) landed 31-year old Georgian international point guard Giorgi Tsintsadze (192-90kg-86). He played most recently at Kutaisi Kutaisi in Georgian Superleague. In 32 games he was fourth best scorer with impressive 17.4ppg and recorded 5.1rpg, 7.0apg (leader !!!) and 2.1spg (in top 3) last season. Philadelphia 76ers signed 28-year old Georgian point guard Jacob Pullen (184-85kg-89, college: Kansas State). He is a dual citizen owning also American passport. Pullen played last season at BC Khimki Moscow Region in Russian VTB league. In 17 Eurocup games he had 10.3ppg, 1.2rpg, 2.5apg and 1.1spg. He helped them to make it to the quarterfinals. CB Cornella (EBA) tabbed 26-year old Georgian forward Davit Ioseliani (207-91). He played most recently at Mgzavrebi in Georgian Superleague, but left the team in Dec.'15. In 9 games he averaged 3.1ppg, 2.0rpg and 1.1apg in 2015-16 season. Among other achievements Ioseliani received Eurobasket.com All-Georgian League Newcomer of the Year award back in 2008.
