American Forward Travante Williams (197-F-93, agency: Duran International) put on an amazing game in the last round for Tskaltubo, receiving a Eurobasket.com A League Player of the Week award for round 7.
The 23-year old player had a double-double of 26 points and 15 rebounds, while his team beat Arena-76 (4-3) 94-81. Tskaltubo is placed at 3rd position in Georgian A League. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Tskaltubo will need more victories to improve their 4-3 record. Williams turned to be Tskaltubo's top player in his first season with the team. Former Alaska-Fairbanks star has very solid stats this year. Williams is league's best scorer averaging so far 32.7ppg. Williams is in league's top in rebounds (5th best: 9.7rpg) and averages impressive 3.4spg,55.8% FGP and 41.8% from behind 3-point line.

The second best player in last round's games was 24-year old American Armani Flannigan (203-F-92) of BC Titebi. Flannigan had a very good evening with a double-double of 21 points and 18 rebounds. Of course he led BC Titebi to another comfortable win outscoring SEU Tbilisi (#6, 0-7) 84-61. This victory allowed BC Titebi to move up to 4th position in the standings. His team's 4-3 record is not bad at all. Flannigan is a newcomer at BC Titebi, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 16.4ppg (#8). His other stats are also decent: 10.7rpg and 3.1apg.

Third on the list of top players last round was American forward Peter Alexis (213-F/C-92) of Arena-76 (#5). Alexis scored 24 points and grabbed thirteen rebounds (!!!). Despite Alexis' great performance Arena-76 lost 81-94 to Tskaltubo (4-3). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing Arena-76 needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 4 victories and 3 lost games. Alexis has a great season in Georgia. After only 7 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 17.0ppg (5th best) and rebounds with 10.9rpg (2nd best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Giorgi Gamqrelidze (183-PG-86) of BC Titebi - 17 points, 3 rebounds and 9 assists
5. Davit Maisuradze (205-C/F-90) of SEU Tbilisi - 20 points and 14 rebounds
6. Brian Blackmon (188-PG-89) of Tskaltubo - 16 points and 8 rebounds
7. Dmitry Sviridov (212-C-85) of Tskaltubo - 17 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists
8. Giorgi Dvali (182-SG-95) of BC Titebi - 21 points and 2 rebounds
9. Dimitri Dvalishvili (198-F-93) of Tskaltubo - 20 points, 2 rebounds and 3 assists
10. Bega Akhalaia (195-F-91) of SEU Tbilisi - 13 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
