An exciting game was played in Tbilisi. Second ranked Hyundai-TSU faced 4th ranked BC Titebi. Guests from Tbilisi (5-2) defeated host BC Titebi (4-4) 84-75. The guests trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 1-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 84-75. Hyundai-TSU looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was American point guard Christopher Anderson (170-92, college: San Diego) who scored 24 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals. South African center Christopher Gabriel (210-88, college: San Diego) chipped in 22 points and 6 rebounds. American forward Armani Flannigan (203-92, college: N.Texas) produced a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds for the hosts. Hyundai-TSU keeps a position of league leader, which they share with DELTA. Newly promoted BC Titebi keeps the fourth place with four games lost. They share the position with Tskaltubo. Hyundai-TSU is looking forward to face Arena-76 (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. BC Titebi will play against the league's leader DELTA and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.

It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Tskaltubo. American center Laron Griffin (205-89, college: E.Washington) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 15 rebounds and 4 blocks. Deondre Ray contributed with 21 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. American forward Travante Williams (197-93, college: Alaska-Fairb., agency: Duran International) replied with a double-double by scoring 29 points and 14 rebounds for Tskaltubo. Newly promoted DELTA maintains first position with 5-2 record, which they share with Hyundai-TSU. Tskaltubo at the other side dropped to the fourth place with four games lost. They share the position with BC Titebi. DELTA will play against BC Titebi (#4) in the next round. Tskaltubo will play against SEU Tbilisi and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Arena-76 - SEU Tbilisi 93-63

Bottom-ranked SEU Tbilisi (0-8) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 93-63 loss to fifth ranked Arena-76 (5-3) in on Wednesday evening. The game was mostly controlled by Arena-76. SEU Tbilisi managed to win fourth quarter 23-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Arena-76 dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to SEU Tbilisi's 34. Arena-76 forced 21 SEU Tbilisi turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by SEU Tbilisi's players. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Tato Chachibaia (201-90) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds (perfect from the field making all six shots) and forward Konstantine Bitsadze (195-97) who added 15 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Five Arena-76 players scored in double figures. Arena-76's coach Marco Minichi felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Kakha Giorgadze (197-94) responded with 26 points and forward Bega Akhalaia (195-91) scored 13 points and 6 rebounds. Arena-76 moved-up to third place.
