An interesting game for Hyundai-TSU (6-2) which hosted in Tbilisi 3rd placed Arena-76 (5-4). Second ranked Hyundai-TSU managed to get a 5-point victory 59-54. The hosts trailed by 6 points at the halftime before their 37-26 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Hyundai-TSU forced 20 Arena-76 turnovers. It was a good game for American point guard Christopher Anderson (170-92, college: San Diego) who led his team to a victory with 18 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals. Forward Alexandre Pevadze (201-98) contributed with 9 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. American power forward Peter Alexis (213-92, college: Philadelphia) answered with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 13 rebounds for Arena-76. Hyundai-TSU have a solid series of three victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with DELTA. Newly promoted Arena-76 keeps the third place with four games lost. They share the position with Tskaltubo. Hyundai-TSU is looking forward to face league's leader DELTA in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Arena-76 will play against BC Titebi and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Center Laron Griffin (205-89, college: E.Washington) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 20 rebounds for the winners and Deondre Ray chipped in 18 points and 7 rebounds. The best for the losing side was forward Armani Flannigan (203-92, college: N.Texas) with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds. Newly promoted DELTA maintains first place with 6-2 record, which they share with Hyundai-TSU. BC Titebi at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the fifth position with five games lost. DELTA will play against league's second-placed Hyundai-TSU in Tbilisi in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. BC Titebi will play against Arena-76 and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Davit Maisuradze came up with 14 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists for SEU Tbilisi in the defeat. Tskaltubo moved-up to third place, which they share with Arena-76. Loser SEU Tbilisi still closes the standings with nine games lost. Tskaltubo will meet at home league's second-placed Hyundai-TSU in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. SEU Tbilisi will play against the league's leader DELTA (#1) and hopes to get finally their first victory.

The guests were ahead by 1 point but lost the second period ending it with a 5-point deficit before their 22-7 run, which allowed them to win the game. DELTA dominated on the defensive end, holding BC Titebi to just 7 points in fourth quarter. They also forced 20 BC Titebi turnovers and outrebounded them 47-33 including 16 on the offensive glass. DELTA brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. BC Titebi was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. American players dominated the game. Mgzavrebi-Armia Tbilisi (Superleague) tabbed 25-year old American guard Jacolby Mobley (183-73kg-92). He just graduated from Tenn-Martin (NCAA). In 28 games he averaged impressive 19.6ppg, 2.9rpg, 2.1apg and 1.0spg last season. Mobley helped them to win the regular season and make it to the OVC Tournament final.
