The Regular Season in Superleague is slowly approaching the end. But there may be still some important changes in the final standings in the last 5 rounds.

The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Tbilisi: Cactus Tbilisi (#6) and Mgzavrebi (#8). Mgzavrebi was defeated at home 69-82 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. The game without a history. Cactus Tbilisi led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. The best player for the winners was American center John Florveus (211-90, college: Georgia) who had a double-double by scoring 31 points, 14 rebounds and 4 blocks. His fellow American import guard Terik Bridgeman (198, college: William Pater.) chipped in 16 points and 9 rebounds. Avtandili Lominashvili (204-92) produced 14 points and 7 rebounds for the hosts. Cactus Tbilisi (9-14) moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Sokhumi. Mgzavrebi at the other side stay at the bottom position with 17 games lost. Cactus Tbilisi is looking forward to face Batumi (#7) on the road in the next round. Mgzavrebi's supporters also look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Tbilisi to the arena Olimpi.
Very important is a road loss of third ranked Energy Invest (13-10) against seventh ranked Olimpi (8-14) on Saturday night. Visiting Energy Invest was defeated by Olimpi in a tough game in Tbilisi 77-85. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Energy Invest. The former international guard Revaz Rogava (191-93) orchestrated the victory by scoring 23 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Tre Burnette contributed with 19 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Center Sergo Atuashvili (223-85) answered with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds for Energy Invest. Olimpi moved-up to sixth place. Energy Invest at the other side keeps the third position with ten games lost. Olimpi's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Tbilisi Mgzavrebi.

Defending champion maintains second place with 16-6 record having seven points less than leader Dinamo Tbilisi. Sokhumi lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourth position with 14 games lost. They share it with Cactus Tbilisi. Kutaisi will meet at home Energy Invest (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Sokhumi's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Tbilisi to the arena Dinamo Tbilisi.
Leader Dinamo Tbilisi delivered the twenty second victory. This time they crushed 5th ranked Batumi (8-15) 95-64. It was a quality performance for Mikheil Tchotchua who led the winners and scored 21 points. Dinamo Tbilisi's coach Irakli Khoshtaria felt very confident that he used 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Dinamo Tbilisi (22-1) have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain first place. Batumi at the other side dropped to the seventh position with 15 games lost. Dinamo Tbilisi's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Tbilisi Sokhumi.

Olimpi - Rustavi 85-77

Very important is a road loss of third ranked Energy Invest (13-10) against seventh ranked Olimpi (8-14) on Saturday night. Visiting Energy Invest was defeated by Olimpi in a tough game in Tbilisi 77-85. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Energy Invest. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Energy Invest won fourth quarter 17-16. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Olimpi dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Energy Invest's 32. The former international guard Revaz Rogava (191-93) orchestrated the victory by scoring 23 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. American guard Tre Burnette (196, college: S.Dakota) contributed with 19 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Center Sergo Atuashvili (223-85) answered with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds and American forward Thomas Spagnolo (201-91, college: Appalachian St.) added 13 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Energy Invest. Four Energy Invest players scored in double figures. Olimpi moved-up to sixth place. Energy Invest at the other side keeps the third position with ten games lost. Olimpi's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Tbilisi Mgzavrebi.

Leader Dinamo Tbilisi delivered the twenty second victory. This time they crushed 5th ranked Batumi (8-15) 95-64. The game without a history. Dinamo Tbilisi led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They shot the lights out from three nailing 14 long-distance shots on high 56.0 percentage. Dinamo Tbilisi players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Batumi's players. It was a quality performance for the former international Mikheil Tchotchua (193-87, agency: Octagon Europe) who led the winners and scored 21 points. Center Ilia Londaridze (205-89) accounted for 12 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side.
