Very significant was Hyundai-TSU's (#2, 7-3) victory against 3rd ranked Tskaltubo (5-5) 95-66. The game without a history. Hyundai-TSU led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to Tskaltubo's 30. Hyundai-TSU forced 23 Tskaltubo turnovers and outrebounded them 49-34 including 17 on the offensive glass. Point guard Sandro Sanadze (188-95) scored 28 points and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and South African center Christopher Gabriel (210-88, college: San Diego) chipped in 14 points and 12 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side Uzbekistani center Dmitry Sviridov (212-85) responded with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 14 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Hyundai-TSU maintains second position with 7-3 record behind leader DELTA. Tskaltubo at the other side dropped to the fourth place with five games lost. Hyundai-TSU's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Tbilisi SEU Tbilisi.

In the last game of round 10 BC Titebi lost to Arena-76 on the opponent's court 88-93.

Arena-76 - BC Titebi 93-88

Rather expected game when 5th ranked BC Titebi (4-6) was defeated on the road by third ranked Arena-76 (6-4) 93-88 on Wednesday. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Arena-76 made 7 blocks. American guard Rodnerius Lewis (193-93, college: Stillman) fired 31 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Point guard Malkhazi Abaishvili (183-91) chipped in a double-double by scoring 21 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists. Giorgi Dvali (182-95) produced 23 points and 7 rebounds and the former international point guard Giorgi Gamqrelidze (183-86) added 7 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists respectively for lost side. BC Titebi's coach Amrosi Ormotsadze rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Newly promoted Arena-76 maintains third position with 6-4 record having just two points less than leader DELTA. BC Titebi lost third consecutive game. BC Titebi at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the fifth place with six games lost. Arena-76 will meet league's leader DELTA in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. BC Titebi will play against Tskaltubo (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

A League top team - DELTA (8-2) had no problems winning another game on Tuesday. This time they crushed sixth ranked SEU Tbilisi (0-10) 86-47. The game without a history. DELTA led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding SEU Tbilisi to just 6 points in fourth quarter. DELTA dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to SEU Tbilisi's 22. They outrebounded SEU Tbilisi 40-24 including 29 on the defensive glass. DELTA looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American Deondre Ray (196, college: Cameron) fired 15 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. The other American import forward Kelvin Downs (206, college: Arkansas St.) chipped in 13 points and 6 rebounds. Four DELTA players scored in double figures.
