Terik
Bridgeman
Guard Terik Bridgeman (198-G) had a great game in the last round for Cactus Tbilisi and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 24.
He had a double-double of 24 points and 13 rebounds, while his team beat Batumi (#7, 8-16) 92-85. Cactus Tbilisi maintains the 4th position in Georgian league. Cactus Tbilisi is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 10-14 record. In the team's last game Bridgeman had a remarkable 75.0% from 2-point range. He turned to be Cactus Tbilisi's top player in his first season with the team. William Paterson University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Bridgeman is in league's top in rebounds (6th best: 8.2rpg) and averages solid 1.5bpg and 56.5% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Mikheil Berishvili (204-SF-87) of top-ranked Dinamo Tbilisi. He is former international in his second season at Dinamo Tbilisi. In the last game Berishvili recorded impressive double-double of 23 points and 10 rebounds. Of course he led Dinamo Tbilisi to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Sokhumi (#5, 9-15) 95-52. Of course Dinamo Tbilisi still keep the league's top spot. His team belongs to top of the standings with 23-1 record and is considered one of the main candidates for the league title. Berishvili is well-known at Dinamo Tbilisi and he already established his position as one of the team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 15.2ppg (#6). His other stats are also decent: 5.6rpg and 4.0apg.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Igor Krivtsov (201-F-86) of Batumi (#7). Krivtsov scored 26 points and grabbed eleven rebounds (!!!). Despite Krivtsov's great performance Batumi lost 85-92 to the higher-ranked Cactus Tbilisi (#4, 10-14). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Batumi not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 16 games, recording just eight victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Krivtsov could try to bring Batumi's a little bit higher in the standings. Krivtsov has a very solid season. In 22 games in Georgia he scored 11.9ppg. He also has 6.3rpg and FGP: 50.3%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Giorgi Tsintsadze (192-PG-86) of Kutaisi - 28 points, 3 rebounds and 6 assists
5. Ilia Londaridze (205-C-89) of Dinamo Tbilisi - 22 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists
6. Beqa Chikviladze (196-F/G-91) of Cactus Tbilisi - 23 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists
7. Besik Lezhava (192-SG-86) of Batumi - 22 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists
8. Thomas Spagnolo (201-F-91) of Rustavi - 14 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists
9. Beka Bekauri (207-PF-91) of Kutaisi - 16 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists
10. John Florveus (211-C-90) of Cactus Tbilisi - 17 points and 15 rebounds

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
