Congrats on the 87-64 win. Is it still special going back to the Osthalle or is it now become like a normal game for you?
Thanks, well it was a special game for the team and me. First we had to get a tough road win to stay in the race for the last couple playoff seeds and second I was in Giessen for the last 3 seasons, the fans are great and the Osthalle might be old but still has a very good atmosphere. I am happy we got a win there on my first trip back.
How big was this win in Giessen after the three game losing streak?
Well like I said it was very big for us, Giessen needed the win to fight off relegation and we needed it to make sure we still compete for a playoff spot.
The next game is against the Fraport Skyliners pitting the 9th against the 10th in the standings. Is this the first match point of the season for both teams?
We started the season very good and Frankfurt started pretty badly, while Frankfurt worked their way out of the hole and is playing pretty good basketball, our season was an up and down. But we are making the right moves an improvements lately, so we are definitly on another upwards trend going into this last month of the regular season, therefore I see us having the upper hand in this game. Every game that is won from now on is a match point.
The Fraport Skyliners will have a lot of revenge after the embarrassing 72-53 loss in Frankfurt. What kind of game can we expect?
Frankfurt will come out focused from the start, and I am sure coach Katzurin has his guys well prepared.
Will the key matchup be Bobby Brown-Quantez Robertson?
Its will be a team effort and we all know Bobby can score against anybody but we have a whole team full of threats so I wouldnt just call it the key matchup
What will be key in getting the win?
Home crowd, energy and focus
What is your fondest Easter memory as a kid?
We used to go to my Grandmothers house and throw easter eggs in a sock. Whoever threw it the furthest won of course.
If the EWE Baskets Oldenburg had an Easter egg hunt which player would find the most egsgs and why? Lol
Kenny Hasbrouk because he is just out sprints everybody.
