Halle stole a home-advantage from Wasserburg and stepped closer to the Final. The guests were already 13 points ahead after 3 quarters before a 18-11 TSV 1880 Wasserburg's run in the last quarter cut the lead to 65-59 at the end of the game. American power forward Ashley Ellis-Milan (188-F/C-87, college: Minnesota) nailed a double-double by scoring 21 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side and Canadian forward Tamara Tatham (187-85, college: Massachusetts) accounted for 19 points, 12 rebounds and 7 assists. American guard Brittainey Raven (183-88, college: Texas) came up with 20 points and 6 rebounds and the other American import guard Krystal Vaughn (185-86, college: VCU, agency: LBM Management) added 11 points and 9 rebounds respectively for TSV 1880 Wasserburg in the defeat.

BC Winterthur (LNA) strengthened their roster with addition of 21-year old German guard Paulina Koerner (175-96). She just graduated from Columbia (NCAA). In 26 games she recorded 7.9ppg, 3.3rpg and 2.6apg last season. As mentioned above Koerner is just out of the college and it will be her first season in pro basketball.
