NT forward Romy Bar extends her stay in France - Aug 9, 2012

Romy Baer
Romy Bar (189-F-87) will play in France for third straight year. The German forward signed a deal with Lyon. She spent last season with Challes, but the team went bankrupt earlier this summer and most of its players already joined Lyon. Bar appeared 29 times in the LFB last season averaging 9.1 points, 4.4 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 2 steals. She was the leagues No.1 in steals. Bar played for Challes also in 2010/11. At that time she had 8.9 ppg, 4.5 rpg, 3.7 apg and 2.4 spg (No.2). In both years she was named to Eurobasket.com French LFB All-Bosmans Team. Before Challes, Romy Bar played three years for the German squad TV Saarlouis Royals. She also has experience from ChemCats Chemnitz. In 2009 and 2010, Bar was named Eurobasket.com All-German DBBL Player of the Year and she won two DBBL titles with Saarlouis. Romy Bar is active member of the German National Team since 2008.

ChemCats Chemnitz (DBBL) strengthened their roster with addition of American guard Maegan Conwright (173). She has only college experience while playing for Florida State University (NCAA). In 38 games she recorded 11.7ppg, 1.8rpg, 3.2apg and 1.5spg in 2014-15 season. Conwright helped them to make it to the final after they ended regular season as second best team. Sabally re-signs at Freiburg - 1 day ago

Eisvogel USC Freiburg (DBBL) confirmed in their roster 18-year old power forward Satou Sabally(189-F/C-98). She played there last season. In 9 DBBL games she had 5.6ppg, 6.0rpg and 1.1spg. The previous (14-15) season Sabally played at TuSLi Berlin (2.Bundesliga) where in 15 games she recorded very impressive stats: 17.1ppg, 8.3rpg, 2.4apg and 1.7spg. Eisvogel USC Freiburg (DBBL) re-signed 20-year old point guard Anna Schipek(170-PG-96). She has played there for the last two seasons. But in 12 DBBL games she recorded just 1.0ppg last season. Schipek won Regionalliga (Southwest-South Group) 2014. She has played previously for another German team USC Freiburg II.
