Herner TC's coach Marek Piotrowski used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was American guard Vanessa House (170-88, college: W.Virginia) with 23 points and 8 rebounds (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!) and her fellow American import power forward Samantha Meissel (188-88, college: Indianapolis) scored 15 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Herner TC left bottom position moving up to tenth place, which they share with Oberhausen. Rotenburg/Scheessel at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the third position with two games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. They were replaced at the leadership position by Wasserburg. Rotenburg/Scheessel will play next round against strong Osnabruck trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Herner TC will try to continue on its current victory against second ranked Heli Girls in Noerdlingen.
