Parker
American Adonte Parker (183-PG-89) put on an amazing game in the last round for Bayer Giants and that's him to receive a Eurobasket.com ProB Player of the Week award for round 7.
The 23-year old playmaker had the game-high 28 points adding five rebounds and eight assists for Bayer Giants in his team's victory, helping them to crush Weissenhorn (#5, 4-3) with 21-point margin 93-72. Bayer Giants is placed at 8th position in German ProB. Bayer Giants is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 3-4 record. In the team's last game Parker had a remarkable four three-pointers out of 8 attempts. He turned to be Bayer Giants' top player in his first season with the team. University of Dayton graduate has very impressive stats this year. Parker is league's best scorer averaging so far 30.5ppg. Parker is in league's top in assists (2nd best: 7.0apg) and averages solid 53.2% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 23-year old American center Anthony Young (200-C-89) of Wulfen. Young impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 27 points and 13 rebounds. Bad luck as Wulfen lost that game 80-85 to slightly higher-ranked Hannover (#8, 3-4). Despite lost game Wulfen moved up to 9th position in North. 5 lost games are too many comparing to just two victories Wulfen managed to get this year. Young is a newcomer at Wulfen and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 23.4ppg (#4). He also registered 10.6 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was Indian Anish Sharda (188-PG-82) of second-ranked Hanau. Sharda showcased his all-around game by recording 21 points, seven rebounds and ten assists (!!!) in the last round. Despite Sharda's great performance Hanau lost 84-91 to the lower-ranked Dresden (#9, 3-4). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing Hanau needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams in South. Their record is 5 victories and 2 lost games. Sharda has a great season in Germany. After only 7 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 6.6apg (3rd best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Johannes Richter (206-PF-93) of TSV Troester - 24 points and 11 rebounds
5. Blake Poole (195-C-88) of Dorsten - 14 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists
6. Martinis Woody (201-F/C-82) of Langen - 19 points, 16 rebounds and 3 assists
7. Jack Eggleston (203-PF-88) of Bayer Giants - 22 points and 9 rebounds
8. Geddes Robinson (195-PF-87) of Dragons - 19 points, 10 rebounds and 3 assists
9. Davey Hopkins (195-SF-88) of Rist Wedel - 17 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists
10. Antonio Houston (196-G/F-88) of Wulfen - 30 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists

The Player of the week is choosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
