The fans could enjoy quite many interesting games in the last round. The round ended with favorites losing the games and games ending by tiny margin.

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Duesseldorf Baskets as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Duesseldorf Baskets defeated 8th ranked BV Chemnitz 99 at home 83-69. The game without a history. Duesseldorf Baskets led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Duesseldorf Baskets outrebounded BV Chemnitz 99 33-22. Worth to mention a great performance of American-Liberian forward Patrick Flomo (203-80, college: Ohio) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds.
