The fans could enjoy quite many interesting games in the last round. The round ended with change at the leadership position and favorites losing the games.

BBL round 10 caused change at the leadership position. Third defeat of league's leader ratiopharm Ulm (8-3) against fourteenth ranked Deutsche Bank Skyliners (4-6) 78-62 was the most important game of the last round. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 4-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 78-62. Deutsche Bank Skyliners forced 22 ratiopharm Ulm turnovers. American players dominated the game. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Devin Gibson (182-89, college: UTSA) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 6 assists. Forward Zachery Peacock (203-87, college: Georgia Tech, agency: Pro One Sports) contributed with 18 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Forward Dane Watts (203-86, agency: Pro One Sports) replied with 11 points and 8 rebounds for ratiopharm Ulm. ratiopharm Ulm's coach rotated twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Deutsche Bank Skyliners moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Phoenix Hagen and s.Oliver Baskets. ratiopharm Ulm at the other side dropped to the second position with three games lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by Brose Bask.. ratiopharm Ulm will play next round against league's leader Brose Bask. trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Deutsche Bank Skyliners will try to continue on its current victory against thirteenth ranked s Oliver Baskets in Wuerzburg.
Another interesting game for Artland Dragons (7-3) which played on the court of BBC Bayreuth (6-4). Fourth ranked Artland Dragons had an easy win 88-78. American-Cypriot power forward Anthony King (206-85, college: Miami, FL, agency: Interperformances) scored 17 points and 5 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Petar Popovic chipped in 17 points during the contest. At the losing side American forward Jason Cain (208-85, college: Virginia) responded with 19 points and 8 rebounds. BBC Bayreuth's coach tested eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Artland Dragons have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with EWE Baskets. BBC Bayreuth at the other side dropped to the seventh position with four games lost. Artland Dragons will play against Walter Tigers (#14) in Tuebingen in the next round which should be an easy win for them. BBC Bayreuth will play on the road against Phoenix Hagen (#11) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
A very close game took place in Bremerhaven between ALBA Berlin and Eisbaeren Bremerhaven. Seventh ranked ALBA Berlin (6-2) got a very close victory on the road over 8th ranked Eisbaeren Bremerhaven (5-5). ALBA Berlin managed to escape with a 1-point win 70-69 on Sunday evening. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Eisbaeren Bremerhaven. Deon Thompson notched 21 points and 5 rebounds to lead the effort. Even 23 points by Stanley Burrell did not help to save the game for Eisbaeren Bremerhaven. ALBA Berlin have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to fifth place. Loser Eisbaeren Bremerhaven keeps the eighth position with five games lost. They share it with B.Muenchen. ALBA Berlin will meet at home Bayern Muenchen (#8) in the next round. Eisbaeren Bremerhaven will play against Mitteldeutscher BC in Weissenfels and hope to secure a win.
Bottom-ranked LTi 46ers managed to get a second victory, breaking the eight-game losing streak. This time they won against tenth-ranked Telekom Baskets in Giessen 88-79. Telekom Baskets at the other side keep the tenth place with five games lost. LTi 46ers' next round opponent will be higher ranked New Yorker Phantoms (#16) in Braunschweig and it may be quite challenging game.
Worth to mention about the upset in a game between EnBW Ludwigsburg (3-7) and Mitteldeutscher BC (3-8), which took place in Weissenfels. 14th ranked EnBW Ludwigsburg was outleveled in a road game by seventeenth ranked Mitteldeutscher BC 96-76 on Saturday.
