John
Eggleston
24-year old power forward Jack Eggleston (203-PF-88, agency: Pro One Sports) had a great game in the last round for Bayer Giants and receives a Eurobasket.com ProB Player of the Week award for round 9.
He had a double-double of 30 points and 10 rebounds, while his team edged out Hanau (5-4) in overtime 97-93. Bayer Giants maintains the 7th position in German ProB. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Bayer Giants will need more victories to improve their 5-4 record. In the team's last game Eggleston had a remarkable 83.3% from 2-point range. It's his second year at Bayer Giants and it's hard to imagine this team without him. University of Pennsylvania graduate has very impressive stats this year. Eggleston is in league's top in rebounds (9th best: 8.9rpg) and averages solid 63.1% FGP and 40.6% from behind 3-point line.

Second best performed player last round was Tobias Jahn (205-F-86) of Langen. He is a forward in his first season at Langen. In the last game Jahn recorded impressive double-double of 22 points and 16 rebounds. Of course Langen cruised to a 77-70 relatively comfortable win over slightly lower-ranked Leitershofen (#10, 3-6). Langen's 8th position in South has not changed. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 5-4 record is not bad and everything may still change. Jahn is a newcomer at Langen and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Kedrick Johnson (193-F-83) of Noerdlingen (#4). Johnson showcased his all-around game by recording 18 points, ten rebounds and seven assists in the last round. He was a key player of Noerdlingen, leading his team to a 95-85 win against the lower-ranked Dresden (#9, 3-6). Noerdlingen needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams in South. Their record at this point is 5 victories and 4 lost games. Johnson has a very solid season. In 9 games in Germany he scored 13.8ppg. He also has 8.9rpg and FGP: 67.1%.

The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
