After parting company with two players during this past week, the BSW Sixers have filled one of the open spots by the signing of Theron Jenkins (198-F). The 23-year-old swing man spent his college career at Itawamba Community College, NCAA D1 school Texas Tech and transfered to the University of North Alabama (NCAA D2) for his senior season. Jenkins averaged 16.1 points, 9.1 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.9 steals per contest for the Lions throughout the 2011-12 season. He will make his debut for the BSW Sixers against Braunschweig on Saturday.

Ryon Howard has agreed a contract extension to remain with the Bochum Astro Stars who will be playing in the 2. Bundesliga Pro B in the 2013-14 season. Thus, the Bronx, NY, native will enter his third year in Bochum.
