A tough 77-74 home loss in Eurocup play against Spartak. What was key at the end for not getting the win?

They made enough free throws and got the critical stop in the last minute.

What gave ratiopharm Ulm the most problems with the guard duo Zach Wright and Patrick Beverly?

Beverly was more of a scorer this game, they both do a good job of drawing the defense and finding the cutting big.

How much video did the team have to watch after the tough loss against the Fraport Skyliners? What mistakes did the team learn from?

We watched most of the game on film. Frankfurt played with a lot more energy than us and were able to force turnovers. We learned that any given night in the BBL you can lose if you don't bring your best effort.

The next game is against the Brose Baskets Bamberg?Do you remember watching Bostjan Nachtbar when he played in the NBA and you were in college?

I have seen some clips from his time with the Nets.

Defense is still something that ratiopharm Ulm can improve. Will even a 90% effort on the defensive end be enough for a victory?

I don't think you can be 90% in any area and expect to beat the defending champs unless it is your shooting %. We will have to match their intensity on both ends of the court.

There is a lot of hope that young German Till Joscha Johnke will be able to come into the foot steps of a Per Guenther one day. What do you like most about his game?

His defense and his rebounding from the PG position, he is always pushing his opponent in practice in those areas.

Derek Fischer is reported headed to the Dallas Mavericks and Pao Gasol to the New York Knicks. What are your thoughts about these possible occurences?

Fisher is good for Dallas, they will be solid when Dirk is healthy. I dont buy into the Gasol trades yet, Laker fans hate on him too much.

What was the last DVD movie that you saw?

RED. Bruce Willis, Action, Comedy.

Thanks Dane for the chat
