He spoke to eurobasket before the game against BBC Bayreuth December 8th.

A tough 71-69 loss to Cholet dropping ratiopharm Ulm to 2-3 in Eurocup play. Describe the last play where Rudy Jomby hit the buzzer beater?

He was able to get open off a double down screen and hit a deep 3 going away from the basket. It was a big shot with a lot on the line.

You played many years against Markus Goree and had him again as an opponent. Does he still bring it to the floor at age 34?

He is a key player for Cholet and still plays majority of the minutes. He has played physical every time I matchup with him.

Have you ever had more exciting back to back games like against Bamberg and Cholet in your basketball career?

Playing two big games in a week with lots to play for was exciting. It was disappointing that we came up on the short end in the two games in the last seconds but there is time to learn and grow from these losses.

The next game is against BBC Bayreuth who are always very tough to play at home. What has been your impression of them this season. Could they be a playoff sleeper?

They got off to a hot start and have put together a quality team from top to bottom. They have the tools to compete for the playoffs.

You will see your ex teammate Nicolai Simon. What was your fondest memory of him on and off the court in Tubingen?

Nico was a good teammate in Tubingen and a good guy off the court. He would accompany us to our trips to Stuttgart for English movies on our off evenings.

What is your opinion of the NBA fining the San Antonio Spurs 250,000$ for not dressing their superstars in a game?

I think Popavich did what he thought was best for his team and the players. I think that the fine was ridiculous. Funny thing was that the Spurs nearly won that game in Miami without those guys.

Alex King set an Eurocup record tonight with 7/7 from outside. What would you ask him the next time you play Wurzburg concerning outside shooting?

I would congratulate him on a hot shooting performance.

What was the last DVD movie that you saw?

National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation

thanks Dane for the chat.
