Koop could not help Pall.Pozzuoli (2-7) in their last game on Sunday. Despite her good performance Pall.Pozzuoli was badly defeated 61-45 on the road by the higher-ranked Lucca (#5).
Koop was the second best scorer with 12 points. She also added 7 rebounds.
Koop's overall stats this season are: 7.4ppg, 6.3rpg and FT: 52.9%.
She is in the roster of the German senior national team.
#3. The German player who performed third best last week abroad was an international guard Lea Mersch (170-87, currently plays in Czech Republic). Mersch managed to help DSK Basketball Karlin in a victory against the league outsider BK Pliska Studanka (1-13) 79-62 in the Czech Republic ZBL on Sunday night.
She scored 5 points, grabbed 4 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 21 minutes.
DSK Basketball Karlin (3-11) is placed second from the bottom (#11) in the ZBL.
They ended the series of nine consecutive loses.
This year Mersch's overall stats are: 4.3ppg, 3.4rpg, 1.4apg, 2FGP: 27.4% and FT: 62.5% in the 14 games.
She played for the German national team one years ago.
#4. Power forward Petra Glaser (196-81, college: Long Beach St., currently plays in Sweden) was not able to help Kvarnby (5-6) in their game against Northland (8-3) in the Swedish Damligan. Despite her good performance in Wednesday night's game Glaser was the second best scorer with 11 points. She also added 6 rebounds.
Glaser has relatively good stats this season: 12.3ppg, 5.6rpg and 1.7apg.
She used to play for the German national team
last year.
#5. Former U20 international guard Christiane Fischer (168-90, currently plays in Canada) was not able to secure a victory for the Manitoba University (6-4) in their game against the Winnipeg (4-6) in the Canadian university league CIS. Fischer did not have that impressive stats last Wednesday.
She scored only 1 points and added 3 passes in 23 minutes.
The Manitoba University (#3) lost in an overtime 60-68 in a derby game to the Winnipeg.
This year Fischer's total stats are: 3.4ppg, 4.0rpg, 1.4apg and 1.8spg in the nine games.
She used to play for the German U20 national team
two years ago.

Heli Girls Noerdlingen Donau-Ries signed 25-year old American guard Vanessa House (170-G-88, college: W.Virginia). Last season she played for BG 89 Avides in DBBL. House helped her team get promotion to DBBL. In 20 Bundesliga games she had very impressive stats: 16.3ppg, 5.6rpg, 3.4apg (top 5) and 1.9spg this season. Quite impressive season as she was voted Eurobasket.com All-Finnish League Guard of the Year, Import of the Year and named to 1st Team. House played in the final of Big East Conference Tournament in 2010. She graduated from West Virginia University in 2011 and it is her second season as a professional player.
