At Creighton, he won awards such as MVC Tournament Winner -05, 07, MVC All-Freshman Team -05, MVC Regular Season Runner-Up -07, and MVC Tournament Semifinals -08. He spoke to eurobasket before the game against the EWE Baskets Oldenburg.

A tough opening loss in Eurocup Top 16 agaisnt Crvena-Zvezda. It was a Phoenix Hagen type of game of high scoring. Did they take ratiopharm out of their game plan?

They are the top scoring team in the competition and we did not do the best job of limiting their points.

You played against 3 ex Beko BBL players with Mike Scott, Elton Brown and Rasko Katic. When you look back at your career in Germany which one of these three players gave your teams the most problems?

I believe there was 4, Simonovic played for Berlin last season. Elton Brown had the better night out of the ex bbl players.

Igor Rakocevic had a strong game with 32 points. Was his ability to draw fouls his best asset or did he shine in another area?

He is a proven scorer and anytime scorers get 14 fta, they are going to have big nights.

The next game is against the EWE Baskets Oldenburg. ratopharm Ulm had an easy time with them in the first game winning 96-66. What is your memory of that first game?

I remember their players were ill and you could tell they didn't have the same energy level as they normally would.

The EWE Baskets Oldenburg are an improved team from that first game. They are on a five game winning streak.Rickey Paulding has been hot of late. What will be key in getting the win?

Rebounding and making life tough for their shooters.

Aron Baynes who played for Oldenburg two seasons ago is close to signing with the Spurs. How will he fit into their lineup there best and what do you remember most from his game?

He was a huge guy that would make a great WWE wrestler. I saw that he was playing really well in Euroleague this year, he can be a physical rebounder for the Spurs.

Steve Nash hit 10,000 career assists in the NBA. Where do you rate him as a point guard in the last 15 years in the NBA?

Probably only behind Stockton.

What was the last DVD movie that you saw?

The Avengers
