Here is the weekly review of the top performing German players, who play currently abroad.

Dirk Nowitzki
Dirk Nowitzki
#1. This week's number one is an experienced former international forward Dirk Nowitzki (213-78, currently plays in NBA). He led Dallas Mavericks to an overtime victory against the Sacramento Kings (14-24) 117-112 in the NBA in Thursday night's game. Nowitzki scored 17 points, grabbed 9 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 40 minutes on the court. The Dallas Mavericks have 16-23 record this season. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. It's Nowitzki's 15th year with the team. He has individually a very good season with high stats. Nowitzki averages: 13.3ppg, 5.0rpg, 2.4apg, 2FGP: 42.7%, 3FGP: 40.5% and FT: 72.2% in the 12 games he played so far. He played for the German senior national team two years ago.

Tibor Pleiss
Tibor Pleiss
#2. Second place goes to an international center Tibor Pleiss (215-89, currently plays in Euroleague). Pleiss led his Spanish team Caja Laboral to an easy victory against the eighth-ranked Besiktas (0-3) crushing them 77-51 in the Euroleague last Thursday. He scored 12 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. Caja Laboral Vitoria (3-0) is placed first in group F. So far his team won all three games in the Top 16. Pleiss' overall stats this season are: 4.6ppg, 4.5rpg, 2FGP: 45.7% and FT: 91.7%. He is in the roster of the German senior national team.

Chris Kaman
Chris Kaman
#3. The German player who performed third best last week abroad was former international center Chris Kaman (213-82, college: Cent.Michigan, currently plays in NBA) is a teammate of previously mentioned Dirk Nowitzki. But that was another game of his team in NBA which we would like to mention. Kaman led Dallas Mavericks to an easy victory against the Memphis Grizzlies (24-12) crushing them 104-83. He recorded 14 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in 23 minutes. The Dallas Mavericks have 16-23 record this season. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. Kaman has very impressive stats this year: 13.0ppg, 6.4rpg, 2FGP: 50.6% and FT: 79.4% in the 37 games. He is a naturalized American. Kaman played for the German national team two years ago. Strangely he has never played in Germany.

Christian Standhardinger
Christian Standhardinger
#4. Forward Christian Standhardinger (203-89, currently plays college basketball in the States), who plays in the NCAA could not help the one of league's weakest teams Hawaii (2-2) in their last game. Despite his good performance the Hawaii lost 64-68 on the road to the University of California-Irvine. Standhardinger had a double-double by scoring 12 points and getting 13 rebounds (went 5 for 5 at the free throw line) in 28 minutes. Standhardinger has relatively good stats this year: 10.7ppg and 1.7apg in the 27 games. He has a dual citizenship: Filipino and German. Standhardinger used to play for the German U20 national team back in 2009.

Chad Toppert
Chad Toppert
#5. Former international guard Chad Toppert (201-85, college: N.Mexico, currently plays in Spain) was not able to help CAI Zaragoza (10-7) in their game against Blancos de Rueda (7-10) in the Spanish ACB.
