17-year old forward Noemie Rouault (180-F-95) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for second-ranked Berlin and receives a Eurobasket.com 2.Bundesliga Player of the Week award for round 13. She had a double-double of 25 points and 20 rebounds, while her team outclassed Neuss (#8, 5-8) with 48-point margin 97-49. Berlin maintains the 2nd position in German league. They are still close to the very top. Berlin would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 11-2 record. It's Rouault's second year at Berlin and it's hard to imagine this team without her. Rouault has impressive league stats. She is in league's top in rebounds (9th best: 9.5rpg) and averages solid 54.2% FGP.
Second best performed player last round was Colleen Planeta (188-F-88) of top-ranked Saarlouis. She is American forward in her first season at Saarlouis. In the last game Planeta recorded impressive double-double of 26 points and 12 rebounds. Of course she lead Saarlouis to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Speyer (#6, 6-6) 94-73. Of course Saarlouis still keep South's top spot. She plays for the best team in the league and Saarlouis managed to win all 12 games keeping perfect record. Planeta is a newcomer at Saarlouis and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.
Third place about best performers goes to another Saarlouis' star - guard Merideth Marsh (169-PG-88). Marsh got into 30-points club by scoring 38 points in the last round. She went also for seven rebounds . She was another key player of Saarlouis, helping her team with a 94-73 easy win against the lower-ranked Speyer (#6, 6-6). Saarlouis have amazing season winning all 12 games without a single defeat in South. Marsh turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title. Marsh has a great season in Germany. After 11 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 22.0ppg (4th best).

Marburg stormed past Saarlouis in the consolation finals series. BC Pharmaserv Marburg outrebounded TV Saarlouis Royals 39-18 including a 27-11 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of Bulgarian power forward Diana Voynova (192-88, college: Duquesne) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 6 rebounds (on 10-of-11 shooting from the field). The former international power forward Svenja Greunke (188-89) contributed with 14 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top performances of Germans who are currently playing abroad. This week's number one is an international forward Romy Baer (187-87). She led Nice to a victory over the third-ranked Tarbes in the French LFB in Wednesday night's game.

#1. This week's number one is an international forward Romy Baer (187-87, currently plays in France). She led Nice to a victory over the third-ranked Tarbes (4-2) crushing them 84-59 in the French LFB in Wednesday night's game.
Baer was MVP of the game. She scored 19 points, had 6 rebounds and dished 8 assists (went 5 for 5 at the free throw line) in 38 minutes on the court.
Cavigal Nice Basket 06 (4-2) is placed fourth in Play-Out group.
Baer has relatively good stats this year: 11.7ppg, 5.0rpg, 4.5apg, 1.7spg, 2FGP: 49.7%, 3FGP: 34.8% and FT: 76.7% in 26 games she played so far.
She is currently a member of the German senior national team.
#2. Second place goes to an international center Lisa Koop (197-85, college: Winthrop, currently plays in France). Koop contributed to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Reims (15-11) 79-62 in the French LF2 (second division) last Wednesday.
She scored 11 points, grabbed 5 rebounds and made 2 blocks.
Landerneau Bretagne Basket (18-8) is placed third in the LF2.
It was her team's third consecutive victory in a row.
It's Koop's first season with the team.
This year Koop averages: 6.7ppg, 5.5rpg, 2FGP: 48.0% and FT: 67.2%.
Ex-Gruner Stern Keltern player is in the roster of the German senior national team.
#3. The German player who performed third best last week abroad was former U20 international center Nadine Grieb (184-87, currently plays in Luxembourg). She could not help AB Contern (14-10) in their last game. Despite Grieb's very good performance the fourth-placed AB Contern (14-10) lost 67-78 on the road to the second-ranked Musel Pikes in the Places 1-6 group.
She was the top scorer with 18 points. Grieb also added 6 rebounds and dished 5 assists in 40 minutes.
They ended the series of three consecutive victories.
Grieb is one of the most experienced players in a team as it's her fifth year in AB Contern's roster.
This season she has relatively solid stats: 12.1ppg, 10.4rpg, 2.5apg, 1.3spg, 2FGP: 44.8%, 3FGP: 33.3% and FT: 74.1% in 24 games.
Grieb played for the German U20 national team ten years ago.
#4. Power forward Jessica Hootmann (190-85, currently plays in Australia) contributed to Tigers' victory against the tenth-ranked Suns (3-7) 71-66 in the Australian State League (second division) last Tuesday.
She scored 13 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 32 minutes.
Willetton Tigers (12-6) are placed in SBL group.
But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen.
Hootmann has reliable stats this year: 13.5ppg, 6.0rpg and 3.5apg in two games.
She used to play for the German U20 national team
back in 2005.
