We bring you last week's top performances from Germans who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level.

Dirk Nowitzki
Dirk Nowitzki
#1. This week's number one is an experienced former international forward Dirk Nowitzki (213-78, currently plays in NBA). He led Dallas Mavericks to a victory over the Houston Rockets (22-21) 105-100 in the NBA in Wednesday night's game. Nowitzki was MVP of the game. He scored 19 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in 33 minutes on the court. The Dallas Mavericks have 18-24 record this season. It's Nowitzki's 15th year with the team. Nowitzki has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages: 13.9ppg, 5.6rpg, 2.3apg, 2FGP: 41.1%, 3FGP: 39.5% and FT: 77.4% in the 15 games he played so far. Nowitzki played for the German senior national team two years ago.

Chris Kaman
Chris Kaman
#2. Second place goes to former international center Chris Kaman (213-82, college: Cent.Michigan, currently plays in NBA) is a teammate of previously mentioned Dirk Nowitzki. But that was another game of his team in NBA which we would like to mention. Kaman contributed to a Dallas Mavericks' victory against the Orlando Magic (14-27) 111-105. He scored 13 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. The Dallas Mavericks have 18-24 record this season. This year Kaman has very high stats. He averages: 12.6ppg, 6.3rpg, 2FGP: 50.6% and FT: 79.2%. Kaman is a naturalized American. He played for the German national team in 2011. Strangely Kaman has never played in Germany.

Tibor Pleiss
Tibor Pleiss
#3. The German player who performed third best last week abroad was an international center Tibor Pleiss (215-89, currently plays in Euroleague). Pleiss managed to help Caja Laboral Vitoria to win against the seventh-ranked Fenerbahce Ulker (0-4) crushing them 97-75 in the Euroleague in Friday night's game. He recorded only 4 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. Caja Laboral Vitoria (4-0) is placed first in group F. So far his team won all four games in the Top 16. It's Pleiss' first season with the team. Pleiss' overall stats this year are: 4.5ppg, 4.7rpg, 2FGP: 48.6% and FT: 91.7%. He is also a member of the German senior national team.

Elias Harris
Elias Harris
#4. Forward Elias Harris (203-89, currently plays college basketball in the States), who plays in the NCAA could not help the Gonzaga (4-0) in their last game. Despite Harris' very good performance the Gonzaga was edged 64-63 on the road by the Butler University. He recorded 20 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in 22 minutes. Harris has been at the team for four years. This season Harris' overall stats are: 4.5ppg and 4.7rpg in the 11 games. He is also German national team player.

Christian Standhardinger
Christian Standhardinger
#5. Former U20 international forward Christian Standhardinger (203-89, currently studies in the States), who plays in the NCAA was not able to help the Hawaii (3-3) in their last game on Saturday. Despite Standhardinger's very good performance the Hawaii was defeated 93-82 at home by the University of California - Davis. He recorded 20 points and grabbed 8 rebounds.
