The most exciting game of round 14 in the DBBL took place in Halle. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of second-ranked SV Halle Lions (10-4) to tenth ranked Oberhausen (5-9) 54-52 on Saturday evening. It was quite big embarassment for the home team. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of SV Halle Lions. The guests trailed by 10 points at the halftime before their 30-18 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Oberhausen dominated on the defensive end, holding SV Halle Lions to just 6 points in third quarter. American guard Markeshia Grant (167, college: S.Carolina) orchestrated the victory by scoring 10 points. Fijian guard Valerie Nainima (165-86, college: S.Carolina) contributed with 11 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. American point guard Daphanie Kennedy (175-86, college: Pepperdine) replied with 16 points and 5 rebounds for SV Halle Lions. Oberhausen have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to ninth place, which they share with BG 89 Avides. SV Halle Lions at the other side keep the second position with four games lost. They share it with Wolfenbuettel. Oberhausen is looking forward to face higher ranked Eisvogel Freiburg (#4) at home in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. SV Halle Lions will play against Osnabruck and are hoping to win this game.

Latvian center Ieva Kulite (191-88) scored 14 points and 9 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Brianne O'Rourke chipped in 20 points during the contest. Finnish swingman Heta Korpivaara (186-84, college: Seton Hall, agency: Regeneracom Sports) responded with 14 points and 6 rebounds. Wildcats Wolfenbuettel have a solid three-game winning streak. Defending champion moved-up to second place, which they share with Halle. Heli Girls lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the fourth position with five games lost. They share it with Freiburg. Wildcats Wolfenbuettel will play against Don Bosco Bamberg (#11) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Heli Girls will play against the league's leader TSV 1880 Wasserburg (#1) and hope to get back on the winning track.

Even 17 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists by Vanessa House did not help to save the game for Rotenburg/Scheessel. TSV 1880 Wasserburg have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 12-2 record. Rotenburg/Scheessel lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the ninth place with nine games lost. They share the position with Oberhausen. TSV 1880 Wasserburg will meet Heli Girls (#5) in the next round. Rotenburg/Scheessel will play against Rhein Main Baskets (#7) in Langen and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
The game between fifth ranked Eisvogel Freiburg (9-5) and 11th ranked Don Bosco Bamberg (2-12) in Freiburg ended with biggest points difference. Eisvogel Freiburg outscored guests from Bamberg 67-41. The best player for the winners was Brooque Williams who had a double-double by scoring 19 points and 13 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Eisvogel Freiburg have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Heli Girls. Don Bosco Bamberg lost fifth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the eleventh position with 12 games lost. Eisvogel Freiburg's next round opponent will be Oberhausen (#10) on the road where they are favorite. Don Bosco Bamberg will play against Wildcats Wolfenbuettel.

In the last two games of round 14 Herner was beaten by Rhein MB on the road 85-68. Marburg lost to Osnabruck on its own court 63-69.

No shocking result in a game when ninth ranked Rhein Main Baskets (6-8) beat bottom-ranked Herner TC (2-12) in Langen 85-68. The game without a history. Rhein Main Baskets led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Rhein Main Baskets forced 19 Herner TC turnovers. 24 personal fouls committed by Herner TC helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American players dominated the game. The best player for the winners was forward Denise Beliveau (180-89, college: New Hampshire) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds. Guard Alyssa Karel (170-89, college: Wisconsin) chipped in 13 points. Four Rhein Main Baskets players scored in double figures. Rhein Main Baskets' coach Steffen Brockmann allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Forward Teya Wright (185-89, college: Providence) produced a double-double by scoring 20 points and 14 rebounds and guard Quenese Davis (178-88, college: San Diego St.) added 15 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals respectively for the guests. Rhein Main Baskets moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Marburg. Herner TC lost fifth consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the bottom position with 12 games lost. ChemCats Chemnitz (DBBL) strengthened their roster with addition of American guard Maegan Conwright (173). She has only college experience while playing for Florida State University (NCAA). In 38 games she recorded 11.7ppg, 1.8rpg, 3.2apg and 1.5spg in 2014-15 season. Conwright helped them to make it to the final after they ended regular season as second best team. Eisvogel USC Freiburg (DBBL) confirmed in their roster 18-year old power forward Satou Sabally(189-F/C-98). She played there last season. In 9 DBBL games she had 5.6ppg, 6.0rpg and 1.1spg. The previous (14-15) season Sabally played at TuSLi Berlin (2.Bundesliga) where in 15 games she recorded very impressive stats: 17.1ppg, 8.3rpg, 2.4apg and 1.7spg.
