There was no lack of interesting games this round. The round ended with extra overtimes and favorites losing the games.

The most exciting game of round 17 in the ProB took place in Wulfen. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of second-ranked SC Rist Wedel (12-5) to ninth ranked BSV Wulfen (7-10) 75-73 on Saturday evening. It was quite big embarassment for the guest team. The hosts trailed by 5 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 2-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 75-73.
