Talented Daniela Vogel (179-F-92) had a very impressive game in the last round for league's second-best Berlin and that's her to receive a Eurobasket.com 2.Bundesliga Player of the Week award for round 15. The 20-year old forward had a double-double of 33 points and sixteen rebounds, while her team outclassed Rhein MB II (#11, 3-12) with 46-point margin 104-58. Berlin maintains the 2nd position in German 2.Bundesliga. They are still close to the very top. Berlin would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 13-2 record. It's Vogel's second year at Berlin and it's hard to imagine this team without her. Daniela Vogel averages this season 14.8ppg and 6.2rpg.
The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 24-year old American swingman Kellindra Zackery (182-G/F-88) of Viernheim. Zackery impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 31 points and 10 rebounds. Bad luck as Viernheim lost that game 72-78 to the higher-ranked Keltern (#2, 10-3). Viernheim managed to keep the same 5th spot in South. Her team lost some distance to top teams. But 8-6 record is not bad and everything may still change. She also registered 12.1 boards per game.

She was a key player of Saarlouis, leading her team to a 88-56 easy win against the lower-ranked Trier (#10, 1-13). Saarlouis have amazing season winning all 14 games without a single defeat in South. Marsh turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title. Marsh has a great season in Germany. After 13 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 22.1ppg (3rd best).
