We bring you last week's top performances from Germans who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level.

Petra Glaser
Petra Glaser
#1. This week's number one is former international power forward Petra Glaser (196-81, college: Long Beach St., currently plays in Sweden), who plays in the Swedish Damligan. She could not help Kvarnby (9-11) in their last game. Despite Glaser's good performance Kvarnby was badly defeated 91-74 on the road by the higher-ranked (#5) Udominate. She had a double-double by scoring 11 points and getting 10 rebounds. Glaser also added 5 assists in 29 minutes on the court. It was Kvarnby's first loss after three consecutive victories. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Glaser has relatively good stats this year: 12.7ppg, 5.9rpg, 2.0apg, 2FGP: 46.8%, 3FGP: 9.1% and FT: 84.0% in the 20 games she played so far. She played for the German senior national team two years ago.

Lea Mersch
Lea Mersch
#2. Second place goes to former international guard Lea Mersch (170-87, currently plays in Czech Republic). DSK Basketball Karlin (4-17) is placed second from the bottom (#11) in the ZBL. They ended the series of six consecutive loses. Mersch's team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And now that game is very crucial. This season Mersch averages: 5.4ppg, 3.4rpg, 1.2apg, 2FGP: 31.9% and FT: 63.3%. She played for the German national team in 2011.
