There was no lack of excitement in the last round games. The round ended with favorites losing the games and games ending by tiny margin.

The most exciting game of round 22 in the ProA took place in Duesseldorf. This derby game ended with only one-point defeat on the road of their biggest opponent BG Goettingen (16-6) to third ranked Duesseldorf Baskets (15-7) 60-59 on Sunday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of BG Goettingen. BG Goettingen was trailing by 4 points at halftime but managed to get 2-point lead after three quarters before a 20-17 charge of Duesseldorf Baskets, which allowed them to win the game. Duesseldorf Baskets shot 19 for 29 from the free-throw line, while BG Goettingen only scored three points from the stripe. Naturalized American forward Adam Waleskowski (204-82, college: Florida St., agency: Three Eye Sports) scored 25 points and 8 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American center Chris Gadley (207-87, college: Canisius) chipped in 11 points and 13 rebounds during the contest.
