Justin Gray
The Beko BBL has been busy today with the transfer deadline not far off, a few teams made some changes like Alba Berlin bringing in French national player Ali Traor, or the Eisbaeren Bremerhaven hooking up with American Terrell Everett who returned back for a second tour of duty. The Beko BBL might still see some more changes soon and an interesting development happened in the French Pro A as it was announced that American Justin Gray (188-G-84, agency: Higher Vision Sports, college: Wake Forest) left Poiters Basket 86. There the North Carolina native averaged 8,9ppg, 1,6rpg and 3,0apg. Last season, Gray played in the Beko BBL for the Fraport Skyliners playing only 8 games due to injury and averaged 16.0ppg, 2.8rpg, 3.5apg, FGP: 41.8%, 3PT: 29.3%, FT: 93.9%. Gray is a type of player that can quickly get comfortable with a new surrounding, and he would be a very interesting player for playoff teams for the stretch run. It will be interesting to see if Gray lands back in Germany. Wurzburg fans and Frankfurt fans wont have forgotten his amazing buzzer beater in 2011 and he might just create some nice new memories with a Beko BBL team in the next months.
