Tamara
Tatham
Canadian Tamara Tatham (185-F-85) had a great game in the last round for league's second-best Halle and that's her to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 19.
The 27-year old forward had a double-double of 18 points and thirteen rebounds, while her team crushed Rhein MB (#7, 9-10) with 24-point margin 92-68. Halle maintains the 2nd position in German DBBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Halle will need more victories to improve their 12-7 record. Tatham has many years of experience at Halle, through which he has constantly improved. University of Massachusetts graduate has very impressive stats this year. Tatham is in league's top in points (2nd best: 18.4ppg), rebounds (2nd best: 10.3rpg) and averages solid 2.3spg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 23-year old American forward Denise Beliveau (180-F-89) of Rhein MB. Beliveau impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 25 points and 13 rebounds. Bad luck as Rhein MB lost that game 68-92 to the higher-ranked Halle (#2, 12-7). Rhein MB managed to keep the same 7th spot in the standings. Her team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 9-10 record. Beliveau is a newcomer at Rhein MB and it seems she did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 17.0ppg (#5). She also registered 7.6 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was American Emma Cannon (188-F-89) of top-ranked Wasserburg. Cannon scored 19 points and grabbed nine rebounds. She was a key player of Wasserburg, leading her team to a 87-63 easy win against the lower-ranked Freiburg (#6, 10-9). Wasserburg confirms their top position in the standings Cannon has a great season in Germany. After 19 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 18.7ppg (best scorer) and rebounds with 14.4rpg (#1 in league).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Teya Wright (185-F-89) of Herner - 20 points, 11 rebounds and 2 assists
5. Binta Drammeh (180-F-92) of Bamberg - 19 points and 10 rebounds
6. Chanita Jordan (196-C-87) of Oberhausen - 14 points, 11 rebounds and 2 assists
7. Brett Benzio (190-C-90) of Bamberg - 8 points and 17 rebounds
8. Jahzinga Tracey (185-G/F) of Freiburg - 19 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists
9. Samantha Whitcomb (178-G) of Wolfenbuettel - 24 points, 2 rebounds and 4 assists
10. Ali Schwagmeyer (180-F-90) of Osnabruck - 16 points and 12 rebounds

The Player of the week is choosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
