Romy Bar (188-F-87) and Tyresa Smith (183-F-85, agency: LBM Management) (8 rebs) delivered 13 points each. In Nyon, Caroline Turin (173-F-87) was better than the others netting 14 pts. Noemie Mayombo (171-G-91, agency: LBM Management) contributed with one point less than her. Saarlouis dominated in this game from the tip-off. The German squad had furious beginning taking huge 21-5 lead after 10 minutes of play. Visitors woke up after that and managed to score 20 points in the second period, but on the other side Petra Mankova and her teammates responded with 22. It means that the half time score was 43-25 and it was already clear that Nyon will need a miracle to celebrate in this game. Of course that did not happed and Saarlouis players did not have any troubles for rest of the way. During the last quarter they totally smashed Nyon and at the end celebrated impressive 88-56 victory. Next round is scheduled for November 26.

The SV Halle Lions have found a player to replace Amanda Rego (170-G-86, college: San Diego) who had to return home due to family reasons.Angel Chan (175-G-87) will make her debut for the Lions on Saturday, when the Halle team is taking on Donau-Ries. The 22-year-old Grand Rapids, Michigan, native attended NCAA Division One school Central Michigan from 2005 to 2009. evo New Basket Oberhausen signed 23-year old Hungarian forward Dora Reiner (183-F-86). Reiner played most recently at Szeviep Szeged (Hungary) where he played 9 games and averaged 2.6ppg and 1.0apg, she also helped the team to acheive the Hungarian League Semifinals in 2008.
Dora played World Championships U21 in Moscow Region (Russia) in 2007 while she was playing at Keckemeti KC (A). [read more]
