The Regular Season in DBBL is slowly approaching the end. But there may be still some important changes in the final standings in the last 3 rounds. Host teams show no mercy winning all games.

An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Wasserburg. First ranked TSV 1880 Wasserburg faced 3rd placed TV Saarlouis Royals. Host TSV 1880 Wasserburg (17-2) defeated guests from Saarlouis (12-7) 82-64. The game without a history. TSV 1880 Wasserburg led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. TSV 1880 Wasserburg forced 20 TV Saarlouis Royals turnovers. French forward Soana Lucet (185-87, college: Arizona, agency: LBM Management) fired a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. American point guard Sheylani Peddy (170-88, college: Temple, agency: LBM Management) chipped in 10 points, 8 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 steals. Latvian forward Sabine Niedola (184-91) produced 17 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals for lost side. TSV 1880 Wasserburg have an impressive series of six victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 17-2 record. TV Saarlouis Royals at the other side keep the third position with seven games lost. They share it with Marburg. TSV 1880 Wasserburg are looking forward to face SV Halle Lions (#8) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. TV Saarlouis Royals will play against BC Pharmaserv Marburg (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Fireballs. Worth to mention a great performance of Serbian Maja Vucurovic (187-91, agency: Josep and Nicolas) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Jasmine Thomas contributed with 6 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Gruner Stern Keltern's coach Christian Hergenroether allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American guard Lindsay Sherbert (184, college: Gonzaga) answered with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds for Fireballs. Gruner Stern Keltern maintains second place with 16-3 record behind leader Wasserburg. Newly promoted Fireballs keep the sixth position with ten games lost. They share it with Hannover. Gruner Stern Keltern will play against TH Wohnbau Angels (#10) in Noerdlingen in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Fireballs will play at home against Eisvogel Freiburg (#11) and hope to get back on the winning track.

Other games of round 19 were quite predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
Donau-Ries was defeated by Hannover in a road game 79-71. Chemnitz beat BG 89 Avides at home 81-73. Herner lost to Marburg on the opponent's court 57-66. Halle managed to outperform Freiburg in a home game 75-71.
The best stats of 19th round was 21 points and 11 rebounds by Kim Pierre-Louis of Donau-Ries.

Hannover - Donau-Ries 79-71

There was no surprise when 10th ranked TH Wohnbau Angels (6-13) were defeated on the road by seventh ranked Hannover (9-10) 79-71. The hosts were already 12 points ahead after 3 quarters before a 18-14 TH Wohnbau Angels' run in the last quarter cut the lead to 79-71 at the end of the game. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Stefanie Grigoleit (186-89) who helped to win the game recording 18 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. American Melissa Jeltema (175-88, college: Oakland) contributed with 17 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Four Hannover players scored in double figures. Canadian forward Kim Pierre-Louis (183-93, college: Massachusetts) answered with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and American guard Jennifer Schlott (168-91, college: Utah St., agency: LBM Management) added 24 points in the effort for TH Wohnbau Angels.
