Goettingen celebrated North title. They upset Wolfenbuettel on the road to sweep the championship series. The game was mostly controlled by Goettingen. Wolfpack Wolfenbuettel managed to win second period 16-11. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Wolfpack Wolfenbuettel to just 7 points in first quarter. The best player for the winners was Trinidad and Tobago center Verdine Warner (196-92, college: Shaw) who had a double-double by scoring 12 points and 17 rebounds. Czech guard Katarina Flasarova (171-85) chipped in 15 points. American guard Alysha Womack (170-91, college: Monmouth) produced 12 points and 8 rebounds and her fellow American import forward Alli Gloyd (185-92, college: Arizona) added 8 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the hosts.

Heidelberg rallied past Bamberg on the road to claim South title. Don Bosco Bamberg was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. BasCats Heidelberg had a 19-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. American center Erica Carlson (193-88, college: Dixie St.) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds. Center Viktoria Krell (183-85, college: Lindsey Wilson) contributed with 8 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. BasCats Heidelberg's coach Dennis Czygan allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American power forward Tori Waldner (196-93, college: Penn St.) replied with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 15 rebounds and 5 blocks and Estonian forward Janett Perv (179-91) added 20 points and 4 steals (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) in the effort for Don Bosco Bamberg.
