The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of ALBA-2 (0-1) in Berlin on Sunday night. Hosts were defeated by Neustadt TSV (1-0) 83-73. Neustadt TSV shot 30 for 41 from the free-throw line, while ALBA-2 only scored thirteen points from the stripe. Strangely ALBA-2 outrebounded Neustadt TSV 39-27 including 18 on the offensive glass. The best player for the winners was Dutch power forward Jandell Hersisia (200-90) who scored 21 points and 7 rebounds (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line). Dutch point guard Dyon Doekhi (188-87) chipped in 12 points. Four Neustadt TSV players scored in double figures. Point guard Jonas Mattisseck (193-0) produced 19 points and 5 assists and power forward Hendrik Drescher (205-0) added 15 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the hosts. ALBA-2's coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Neustadt TSV will meet at home WSG Koenigs (#6) in the next round where they are favorite. ALBA-2 will have a break next round.
