It's still too early stage of the Regular Season in DBBL, but even now we can clearly see the differece between stronger teams and outsiders. Coincidentally all hosts won their games.

Hannover (1-1) recorded a loss on the court of TV Saarlouis Royals on Tuesday night. Visitors were rolled over by TV Saarlouis Royals 71-50. The game was mostly controlled by TV Saarlouis Royals. Hannover managed to win third quarter 11-10. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. TV Saarlouis Royals made 19-of-23 free shots (82.6 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was Latvian forward Sabine Niedola (184-91) who had a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds. French-Luxembourg Magaly Meynadier (170-91) chipped in 16 points. At the other side the best for losing team was American Melissa Jeltema (175-88, college: Oakland) who recorded a double-double by scoring 16 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. TV Saarlouis Royals is looking forward to face BC Pharmaserv Marburg (#8) at home in the next round. Hannover will play against Fireballs in Bad Aibling and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
TH Wohnbau Angels delivered the third consecutive victory. This time they beat Fireballs (1-2) 69-61 in Noerdlingen. It was a good game for Canadian forward Kim Pierre-Louis (183-93, college: Massachusetts) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 14 rebounds. Samantha Hill contributed with 17 points for the winners. American swingman Chelsea Waters (185, college: Gonzaga) answered with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds for Fireballs. TH Wohnbau Angels will play against BasCats Heidelberg (#12) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Fireballs will play against Hannover (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

In the last two games of round 3 winless Chemnitz were crushed by Marburg in a road game 72-52. Wasserburg beat Halle at home 82-74.
The best stats of 3rd round was 11 points and 9 rebounds by Agnieszka Fikiel of Keltern.

Keltern - Goettingen 83-56

The game with biggest result difference took place in Keltern. Local Gruner Stern Keltern (3-0) outscored Goettingen (1-2) 83-56. The game without a history. Gruner Stern Keltern led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Goettingen's 32. Gruner Stern Keltern brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. It was a quality performance for American power forward Schaquilla Nunn (190-94, college: Tennessee, agency: LBM Management) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds. The former international power forward Agnieszka Fikiel (194-87) accounted for 11 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side. Four Gruner Stern Keltern players scored in double figures. Gruner Stern Keltern's coach Christian Hergenroether felt very confident using entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. There was a minor upset when ChemCats Chemnitz (0-2) was crushed on the road by BC Pharmaserv Marburg (1-2) 72-52. The game was mostly controlled by BC Pharmaserv Marburg. ChemCats Chemnitz was better in second period 17-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. BC Pharmaserv Marburg dominated on the defensive end, holding ChemCats Chemnitz to just 4 points in fourth quarter. They outrebounded ChemCats Chemnitz 35-23 including 26 on the defensive glass. It was an exceptional evening for Bulgarian power forward Diana Voynova (192-88, college: Duquesne) who led the winners and scored 16 points and 8 rebounds. American guard Tonisha Baker (173-90, college: Campbell) accounted for 13 points and 5 assists for the winning side. Four BC Pharmaserv Marburg players scored in double figures. BC Pharmaserv Marburg's coach Patrick Unger allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games.
