Linos-Spyridon Chrysikopoulos (205-F-92) is definitely the man of the tournament, as in five games until now he has four double-double figures and he is leading his NT from one success to another. Aris Thessaloniki's forward was fantastic in one more game and with 30 points!, 13 rebounds, and 6 block shots was the top performer and the man of the match for another one day. The game was a real derby in the first three quarters with the Hellenic team always having a small deficit from the Turks between 2-6 points. in the fourth and most crucial quarter though, Linos did it all, he was scoring, passing, rebounding and blocking his opponents with the same ease. The poor Turks even though gave their best shot with Can Korkmaz (187-G-92) trying to help his NT and Baygal following could do a lot at the end so the final result came physically.
Sokratis Psaropoulos (191-G-92) had a great 2nd and 3rd quarter and with his 16 points, and 4 assists help his team when the Turks were quite close in the score. Anastasios Antonakis (204-C/F-92) as always was the silent power as he did his own double - double figures without anyone realizing it, he scores 12 points and dashed down 11 rebounds in another solid game.
The next stop for Coach Georgios Vlassopoulos team will be tomorrow against the very strong team of Russia, possible victory will bring the Hellenic team with many chances to 'grab' the top place in the Group F.
