One of the greatest talents in Greece Linos-Spyridon Chrysikopoulos (206-F-92) is a free agent. The 18 year-old forward did not accept the new contract offer Aris Thessaloniki made him and he bought out his freedom by paying the club 1,000 Euros. This happened because of a clause on the previous contract between the player and the Greek club, according to which if Crysikopoulos paid the club this amount of money.
Obviously, this is a very bad development for Aris, as the club from Thessaloniki loses a very promising player, who they could at least sell at a high price, since he decided to leave from the team. On the contrary for other teams this is a real bargain to land such a player without spending a lot of money to buy him. So far Angelico Biella from Italy has shown interest in signing him, but there are also some rumors in Greece which say that he might stay in the A1 league and join Olympiakos S.F.P. Pireus, a club that has always had him in its target.
